Sonny knows someone deliberately framed him for the attack on Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), which also left Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) badly injured.

Once Sonny discovers Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Ava Jerome (Maura West) were behind it, how far will he go for revenge?

Sonny Is Enraged – How Will He Strike Back?

Sonny is furious that he’s being blamed for the Pentonville attack, especially since several family members now believe he lied about leaving the mob.

Although Sonny hasn’t identified the conspirators yet, the truth should eventually come out.

Ava devised the frame-up while Drew helped finance the scheme, including paying Vito Coronado (Jason Paul Field) to betray Sonny.

Once Sonny learns what Drew and Ava did, there are at least four ways he might make them pay.

1. Sonny Forces Ava Out Of Avery’s Life

Sonny could hit Ava where it hurts most by going after her relationship with their daughter, Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola).

Ava is already trying to keep Avery away from Sonny, supposedly to protect her.

Once Sonny learns Ava helped frame him, he could turn the tables and fight to keep Avery away from her instead.

Losing access to Avery would undoubtedly be devastating for Ava.

2. Sonny Tries To Take Scout Away From Drew

Sonny might also find a way to help remove Scout Cain (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) from Drew’s custody.

Depending on what Sonny uncovers, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) could potentially become involved in a custody battle over her granddaughter.

Scout would also have to face some difficult truths about her father.

Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) might even help open Scout’s eyes since the two are dating and already keeping their relationship from Drew.

3. Sonny Uses Brennan’s Death Against Drew And Ava

Another possibility involves Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna).

If Sonny proves Drew and Ava framed him, he could eventually uncover their connection to Brennan’s death and the concealment of his remains.

That could give Sonny something far more powerful than personal revenge: evidence capable of creating serious legal trouble for both of them.

If the entire truth comes out, Drew and Ava could have much bigger problems than Sonny’s anger.

4. Sonny Clears His Name As Drew And Ava Fall

Perhaps Sonny’s best revenge would simply be clearing his name while Drew and Ava’s lives fall apart.

Sonny may never have a spotless reputation in Port Charles, but proving he didn’t order the Pentonville attack would vindicate him with the people who doubted him.

Watching Drew and Ava exposed as the people who actually framed him might be all the revenge Sonny needs.

Drew and Ava didn’t just frame Sonny — their scheme damaged his relationships with Dante, Gio and others who now question whether he’s telling the truth. Once Sonny discovers exactly what they’ve done, I can’t imagine him simply forgiving and forgetting.
