General Hospital Spoilers: Spencer Confesses His Esmé Plot To Nikolas And Ava

General Hospital spoilers tease that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will finally bring his father and stepmother in the loop in an upcoming GH episode. He’ll confess his plot to get Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) to admit her frame-up of Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) to Nikolas and Ava Cassadine (Marcus Coloma, Maura West).

General Hospital Spoilers: Spencer Cassadine Has Been Stringing Esmé Prince Along To Get Information

Spencer has been stringing Esmé along for quite some time now, in order to get information that will prove she framed Trina for the revenge porn uploaded to the internet. Nikolas already knows, although Ava doesn’t, that Spencer had looked through Esmé’s closet and found her secret box, with a bunch of letters and some pills in an unmarked bottle. Esmé had complained to Nikolas about the invasion of her privacy, and had prepared to move out but with her secret box in a suitcase.

Spencer had tried to tie Esmé to the suspected drugging of Trina but there wasn’t enough to prove it, although he found out they were opioids. Since she had torn the pharmacy label off he couldn’t find out where she got them either.

GH Spoilers: Spencer Cassadine Risks Everything

Spencer realizes it’s coming down to the wire for Trina, and if he cannot get a confession out of Esmé he may have to forfeit his own freedom to ensure hers. Spencer had gone on a little field trip arranged by Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) so he could put flowers on his late mother’s grave for the first time in years.

He was about a week from the end of his stint in Spring Ridge detention facility at the time, and if caught, could risk being sent to Pentonville. Trina had arrived at the cemetery and saw him, and it was at the exact time that Esmé had uploaded the revenge porn to the internet and the PCU servers. That is why Trina was late coming to class and didn’t understand what was going on with all the confusion and hadn’t seen the video of her friends having sex.

General Hospital Spoilers: Spencer Cassadine Spills All The Tea

Spencer tells Nikolas and Ava about snooping in Esmé’s closet and finding the secret box and what was in it, after first explaining he’s trying to help Trina. Esmé has always had it in for Trina, and he has suspected that she framed her for the revenge porn and he’s been trying to prove it. For the first time perhaps ever, he and Ava are on the same page, and Nikolas kind of pretends to agree but doesn’t say much, knowing she could retaliate.

The last thing Nikolas wants or needs is for Esmé to reveal the two of them had sex, it would ruin everything for him. He isn’t surprised at what Spencer suspects, however, and proud of his plot to get her to confess-it’s such a Cassadine thing to do.

GH Spoilers: Nikolas, Ava, And Spencer Cassadine Coordinate A Plan

Nikolas thinks how he can discredit Esmé as a liar if she does make good on her threats to reveal their affair while he, Ava and Spencer coordinate a plan. Ava and Spencer talk about how they had both tried to sell Esmé on a plan to confess with promises from each of them. Ava had promised payment out of town and a large sum to live on while Spencer had promised a fictitious birth mother, which she notes would have backfired.

Esmé would have been sent on a wild goose chase only to return to town enraged. The three of them brainstorm how to coerce Esmé’s confession and using it to exonerate Trina, but time is running out, and Spencer may have to be her alibi after all.
