General Hospital spoilers tease Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) has been locked up at Pentonville for a couple of months now, and it’s been a life-changing experience for him that seems to have produced a calmer, cooler, more collected version of him. He’s not sweating the small stuff. He’s not wasting his time on visitors he doesn’t want to see — like his father, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma).

He’s also not holding his breath for a future with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), despite her recent visit which caught him off guard. It looks like Spencer has finally learned a few much-needed lessons, and he might be better for it once he’s released soon.

However, he’s going to receive an unexpected gift while he’s still behind bars, and it just might have an impact on what direction his life goes in once he’s free again. Who is sending him what though?

The best possible explanation for niceties coming Spencer’s way is that Trina is ready to move forward and act on her feelings for Spencer. The water might still be a bit muddy, but her visit to Pentonville clarified where she stands enough for Spencer to know he’s still got a shot at being in her life. They understand each other now, and Trina is going to stop holding it against Spencer for keeping her in the dark about his real plans to take town Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl). Will Trina follow up her visit with a gift to remind Spencer that he’s on her mind? Is she hoping she’s still on his and that they can start over when he comes home? Anything is possible!
