General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Pops The Question — And Carly Commits To Keeping Her Secret

General Hospital spoilers reveals it’s been a long road for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) to find their happy place. Just as it seemed like things were calming down though, Nina is cloaked in anxiety over Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Sonny’s potential lingering feelings for his ex-wife.

How many ways must Sonny prove to Nina that she’s the gal he wants? Will it ever be enough, or is Nina secretly certain he’s only with her because she was his second choice? He’s going to pull out all the stops soon to try to subdue Nina’s worries, but it won’t last long.

Sonny might have spoiled Nina with diamond earrings over Thanksgiving, but he has more in store this Christmas season. Sonny will pick up on Nina’s anxiety and he will know he has to do something pretty dramatic to really capture Nina’s attention and convince her he’s not going anywhere. Of course, he could be lying to himself and her as he pops the question in hopes it’ll cement him into his relationship with Nina and help him stop longing for his ex-wife. Will wedding plans occupy him enough to stem his heartache?

GH Spoilers – Tease Carly Spencer Will Be Stunned

Carly is going to be shocked when Nina lets her know she’s going to be the next Mrs. Sonny Corinthos. While she’s most certainly moved on with her life and cannot currently imagine herself with anyone but Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), Carly won’t share in Nina’s joy. She doesn’t want that woman anywhere near Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Brielle) and Avery Corinthos (Grace Scarola) — and on some level, she doesn’t want her taking Sonny’s name either. She might’ve given it up, but in Carly’s heart, she thought she’d be the last woman to claim it. Is Sonny really going to let someone take Carly’s place? Is Carly going to retaliate by committing to never telling the truth about Nina’s living daughter, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen)?

General Hospital Spoilers — Sonny Corinthos Might Be Scheming

Maybe getting under Carly’s skin and inside her head is what it’s all about for Sonny. Alright, he doesn’t necessarily want to hurt Nina, but collateral damage is a fact of life for Sonny. If Nina gets hurt in the process, he might apologize as a formality but he’ll also remind her she knew what kind of man he was when she got with him. She knew his reputation. This is true, and Nina is well aware of it. Will she have anyone to blame but herself if Sonny isn’t at the end of the aisle? Perhaps not, but for now, Carly’s world is about to be blown apart by the news that Sonny and Nina are getting married. When she does, she will hold even tighter to the secret about Nina being Willow’s mother as a means of sticking it to Nina for taking her place in Sonny’s world.
