General Hospital Spoilers: Spencer’s Hate For Esme Will Ride A Thin Line That Blurs With Love

General Hospital spoilers reveal Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) is supposed to hate Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl). When Esme first entered Spencer‘s life across the pond in boarding school, he thought their relationship was genuine. It’s taken him a long time to learn to trust anyone since she broke his heart. Infuriating him at the same time, Spencer can’t believe Esme has good intentions this time around.

When he starts feeling sorry for her, and even looking at her in a positive light, Spencer is going to question his own instincts and emotions. Laura Collins (Genie Francis) is out of town for a while, and it serves Spencer right for having his guard up. Although she is the one who should be more concerned about the ammunition he holds against her, Spencer will soon grow concerned about how willing he is to cut Esme some slack.

Esme set Spencer up from the get-go. He was completely oblivious to the fact that she was Ryan Chamberlain’s (Jon Lindstrom) daughter, working with the psychopath to take down the Cassadine family from the inside.

She sure has managed to get her clutches into all of them, despite her claims that she wants nothing to do with the family. It’s not going to be easy for Spencer to forget what Esme has done. However, that won’t inhibit him from falling for the new and improved version of her — the mother to his baby brother

Given that Laura is headed to a war-torn nation, it stands to reason that she could be gone for a while. Whatever will Spencer and Esme do with their time while she is away?

When Spencer recently came back from a night out with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), he was clearly injured — having gotten into a physical fight with Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) – Esme was quick to grab him an ice pack and show her concern.

Rumor has it more occasions like this are on the horizon, where Esme and Spencer are going to show mutual appreciation and care for one another. Will they become friends — or even a family?
