General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that a terrified Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), whose water broke while trying to escape from Spoon Island, needs medical attention. It looks like her father, Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) is the best chance she and her baby have-will he be able to save them?

General Hospital Spoilers – Dry Labor In The Woods

A dry labor in the woods near Wyndemere in the winter with a one handed serial killer isn’t the birth experience that Esmé imagined for herself and her first child. Father or not, Esmé is terrified, and with the traumatic amnesia she’s suffering from she doesn’t even remember him or who he’s been to her. Meanwhile, in the castle from the living room from which she just ran, someone who could actually help lies bleeding out on the floor, a victim of Esmé’s mother.

Heather Webber (Alley Mills) hooked Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) right in front of Esmé, and he’s delivered babies in the woods before. If help doesn’t arrive from Port Charles in the form of the PCPD soon, Ryan may indeed be the only chance she and her baby have.

GH Spoilers – Ryan Chamberlain Would Know How To Deliver A Baby

Ryan would know how to deliver a baby, although it may be a bit difficult with one hand-and what if there are complications; it’s not the ideal scenario, for sure. It has been many years since Ryan was trained to be a pediatrician, which would be helpful for the baby, and all doctors are trained to deliver babies. A child or baby is one thing that Ryan can be trusted not to harm, and especially when the mother is his own daughter and the baby is his grandchild. As her uncle Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) warned Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and Mac Scorpio, (John J. York) Ryan will do anything to protect someone with whom he feels a bond. With her water broken and active labor begun, Esmé may have to make a choice to trust Ryan if she wants herself and her baby to survive.

General Hospital Spoilers – What If There Are Complications?

Esmé barely got a chance to read the book on pregnancy and babies she was looking at in Spring Ridge before Heather snatched it away from her. Heather was in a rush and grabbed her to escape on their “family road trip”, and now Esmé’s worried-and so is Ryan, but they have no choice but to deliver. They are far from General Hospital, the launch, and even from the castle and she’s in no condition to walk, and the baby is coming NOW.
