General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, January 3 – Scotty Gets Terrible News – Marcus Tells Stella To Butt Out – Jason’s Suspicions Deepen

General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, January 3, tease that Scotty Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will get some terrible news. He’ll hear that his stepmother Dr. Gail Baldwin (Susan Brown) passed away, and he’ll be devastated. He’ll also start spreading the word of Gail’s death, starting with Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson), who will also be saddened to hear the news.

Meanwhile, Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) will vent to Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) about her breakup with Julian Jerome (William deVry). Kim’s under the impression that Julian slept with someone else after spying her kissing Drew Cain (Billy Miller) on New Year’s Eve, so the whole thing’s pretty upsetting for her. Kim will offer a sympathetic ear as best she can.

Next, on the new GH episode on Thursday January 3, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will have some information to impart on Julian. She’ll be reeling from the news about a serial killer being responsible for three recent murders, and Julian will be interested to hear the new developments as well. Julian desperately wants to see Kiki Jerome’s (Hayley Erin) killer caught.

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will do his best to distract Mike Corbin (Max Gail) from all of the drama with Yvonne Godfrey (Janet Hubert) and her husband Marcus Godfrey (Nigel Gibbs). Sonny and Mike will head to the gym for a workout, but it looks like Mike will still have Yvonne on the brain, as he tells another patron at the gym all about her.

Meanwhile, Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) will bump into Marcus, and the topic of the uncomfortable situation between Mike and Yvonne will arise. Marcus is adamant that Mike needs to stay away from his wife, and it looks like Stella may try to offer a word of advice in her capacity as a social worker. But Marcus will let her know in no uncertain terms that his marriage is none of her business.

Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will continue their visit at Kristina Cortinthos-Davis’ (Lexi Ainsworth) community house where they’ve just met “Shiloh” (Coby Ryan MLaughlin). As it turns out, Shiloh is the man that Jason previously met as “Hank” and who allegedly has a past relationship with Drew. Sam will be unnerved by the whole scene, and Jason will be even more skeptical of Hank now that Hank is getting involved with Kristina.
