General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, January 9 – Jax Promises To Find Hayden – Anna Quizzes Peter – Ava Tells Julian About Her Marriage

General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, January 9, tease that Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will have some questions for Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher). As GH viewers know, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) has made himself known and is back in public life in Port Charles. Now that this is settled, Finn will probably be wondering about Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) and her exit from town.

Of course, Hayden left in the first place because Nikolas made her think that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) was after her – and Nikolas even staged a fake attack to make Hayden believe it. Jax knows about all of this, but whether he’ll inform Finn about the real reasons behind Hayden’s departure remains to be seen. If he does, then Finn is going to be pretty angry with Nikolas for sure. At any rate, Jax will say that he’ll do what he can to find Hayden.

General Hospital Spoilers – Peter August Is In The Hot Seat

Meanwhile, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will have a talk with Peter August (Wes Ramsey). She’s shown in Thursday’s GH previews saying that she has some questions for him, so she’s probably going to confront him about her recent find – that he was at the same facility as the gunman who tried to kill Andre Maddox (Anthony Washington) and Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth).

As GH viewers know, Anna recently stopped short of telling Mac Scorpio (John J. York) about her findings, which made Finn question what she was doing. It looks like she’s going to take her questions directly to Peter instead, which could tip Peter off that she’s onto him and his connection what happened to Drew Cain (Billy Miller). Of course, Anna isn’t quite to the point where she believes that Peter’s a bad guy, but she sure has her suspicions.

General Hospital Spoilers – Julian Jerome Gets A Big Surprise From Ava Jerome

Next on GH, Ava Jerome (Maura West) will catch up with her brother Julian Jerome (William deVry) at Charlie’s Pub. She’ll have a lot to fill him in about, since she’ll have gotten married since the last time she saw him. This should come as a huge surprise to Julian, but Ava will insist that she’s about to get “the sweetest revenge,” so she clearly has something in mind for Valentin and/or Nikolas. We’ll see what it is.

As GH viewers know, Ava’s plan with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) was to bring both Cassadine men down, so there could be something major brewing here. It’s hard to imagine Ava not having something sinister in store for Nikolas, given how he “haunted” her and basically had her sent to Shadybrook, so we’ll see what happens there.

Over at the hospital, Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) will have a run-in with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). As Michael is holding Wiley Cooper-Jones (Theo & Erik Olson), he’ll note to Brad that everything is not ok. He might be referring to the situation surrounding Shiloh Archer’s (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) memorial service, which Michael got invited to. As GH viewers know, Michael is worried that the Dawn of Day people might think they have some right to Wiley. That should make Brad sufficiently nervous.

General Hospital Spoilers – Robert Scorpio Hears An Interesting Proposal

Meanwhile, at the PCPD, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) will impatiently wait to hear Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) proposal. It will have something to do with ending the restrictive terms that the parole officer has put over Sam. Right now, Sam can’t be anywhere near Jason, since he’s a felon, so something’s got to give. We’ll see if Robert goes for whatever Sam and Jason propose.

Finally, on Thursday’s new episode of GH, it looks like there will be more friction between Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), as Sonny fills Carly in about the clinical trial that Gladys Corbin (Mel Harris) told Sonny about. As GH viewers know, Carly would rather that Sonny allow Mike Corbin (Max Gail) to live out the rest of his life naturally, and she’s worried that Sonny’s got false hope for a cure.

Sonny is shown in Thursday’s General Hospital previews telling Carly that the study could be the first steps toward a cure, which will likely worry Carly. This will probably mean that Sonny will want to go on the road with Mike and subject him to a clinical trial that he won’t really understand or appreciate. Carly may try to caution Sonny about the merits of doing that, but it doesn’t look like Sonny will be receptive.
