General Hospital Spoilers Thursday, June 18: Carly & Sonny Tie the Knot – Maxie Finds a Corpse – Ava Faces Carlos Suspicions

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, June 18, tease that it’s time for Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) wedding day. GH fans can expect a terrific encore that takes us back to October 14, 2015. General Hospital spoilers say Sonny and Carly will tie the knot as plenty of other action plays out in Port Charles, so here’s a preview of this throwback episode.

First, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) is alarmed by the dead body floating near the pier. She’s with Dillon Quartermaine (Robert Palmer Watkins) when the discovery’s made. Over with Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine), she seeks more Carlos Rivera (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) info from Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). Anna mentions that she already gave her statement and expresses surprise over Jordan buying Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) story.

Jordan feels like Ava’s claims about Carlos shooting Sonny fit with their knowledge of Carlos. Once Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) gets updates on the corpse discovery, he gives Jordan the scoop and leaves Anna looking troubled.

At the gallery, Paul Hornsby (Richard Burgi) texts Anna thought Kyle’s phone before turning his attention to Ava. Ava bickers with Paul about the next phase of the plan to take down the Corinthos organization. Ava can’t risk getting tied to anything illegal due to Avery Corinthos’ (Ava and Grace Scarola) custody case, so Paul urges her to finish it up or she’ll pay a price along with her daughter.

Afterward, Ava gets on the phone with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) and pushes him to get a move on. She needs Scott to lock in full custody of Avery as soon as possible. Anna shows up, which leads to Ava hanging up and facing accusations of lying. Anna doesn’t believe Ava’s telling the truth since Carlos escaped Port Charles and wouldn’t have returned just to shoot Sonny.

Next On GH: Paul Calls Anna And Requests A Meeting

Ava’s saved from further grilling when Paul calls Anna and request a meeting. Once Anna takes off, Ava gets in touch with Paul to warn him that Anna was there snooping. Paul’s already reassured Ava about taking care of Carlos as a loose end, but he once again insists that everything’s under control.

After Nathan and Jordan look at the decomposing dead body, they can’t tell much about the face. It’s unrecognizable due to the gunshot wound, but the wallet points to it being Carlos. At the police station, Maxie winds up clashing with Valerie Spencer (Brytni Sarpy) and mentions the pregnancy kit that was found in the trash. Valerie finally shouts that there isn’t a baby.

Paul meets up with Jordan and suggests Sonny had someone go after Carlos in retaliation. Anna also spots Paul and learns the corpse has been tentatively identified as Carlos. On a lighter note, let’s get to all the wedding fun at GH. Carly’s blown away when Sonny asks to marry her in the chapel. She finds out Sonny had some assistance when it came putting this little event together.

General Hospital Spoilers & Updates: Sonny And Carly’s Wedding Vows

Once Carly accepts the proposal and gets dressed along with Sonny, they prepare for their nuptials. Sonny’s in his wheelchair, so Carly pulls up a chair to marry him. After some heartfelt vows, Carly and Sonny exchange wedding rings. Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) apologizes over the phone call that interrupts briefly, but Sonny and Carly laugh it off before officially becoming husband and wife.

Next, Dante spreads the news about Carlos’ body. Sabrina Santiago (Teresa Castillo) feels unsteady on her feet and has to sit down. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) does his best to comfort Sabrina later. As for Sonny and Carly, they consider who might’ve been the killer. Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) believes Carlos had it coming, but Sonny assures Carly that his men would’ve already contacted him if Morgan had been responsible.

Carly wonders if Sonny has any other ideas, so he mentions Ava as a possibility. A little later, Carly and Sonny get snuggly in a hospital bed together. This may not have been the fanciest General Hospital wedding, but it was a sweet ceremony just the same!
