General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, June 25, tease that “JaSam” week will take a delightful turn as Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) pops the question. Jason and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) are featured heavily in this classic, which was first seen on July 21, 2011. Here’s what GH fans can expect according to General Hospital spoilers.

For starters, Jason and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) go engagement ring hunting! Since the ring went flying off the 16th floor balcony, Maxie and Jason head down to look for it. Despite their best search through the bushes and all around the sidewalk, Jason and Maxie come up empty.

General Hospital Spoilers: Jason Morgan Is Ready To Propose

Since Jason’s ready to propose, he determines that he can just do it without the ring. Maxie pushes Jason to delay his proposal since Sam will be expecting a ring just like any woman in her position. Over with Sam, she tells Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) she thinks Jason’s going to ask her to marry him. Sam confesses that if Jason asks, she intends to accept his proposal.

Alexis just wants Sam to feel happy and loved, so Sam assures her mom that Jason can check off both boxes. Once Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) arrives and hears this possible engagement news, she’s thrilled for Sam. Afterward, Sam meets Jason on the rooftop, where they enjoy a romantic setup. Jason compliments Sam’s appearance and launches a speech about something he never understood.

Jason never really got why people wanted symbolic rings; he doesn’t see how jewelry connects to what’s in the heart. Nevertheless, Jason’s come to realize that people need certain markers so they won’t take things for granted. Jason feels he’s done in the past, but he doesn’t want to take anything for granted anymore.

ABC General Hospital Episode Spoilers: JaSam Are Getting Married!

After Jason takes Sam’s hands in his own, he declares his love and insists he’d like to spend the rest of his life with her. It’d be an honor to stand by Sam’s side, so Jason asks if she’ll marry him. Sam makes it clear that this step isn’t necessary since Jason is all she needs, but Jason’s adamant this is what he wants.

Jason and Sam end up joking around about Sam already filling Alexis and Kristina in. Sam eventually accepts Jason’s proposal and gets updates on the ring fiasco. Until Jason can get Sam a real one, he offers her a chrome nut. Sam’s over the moon and can’t believe they’re actually getting married.

Next, Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) decides it’s time to say some emotional goodbyes. He’s leaving Port Charles, so Morgan Corinthos (Aaron Sanders) gets an apology before Jax goes. Jax is sorry the marriage didn’t work out and that he’s broken the promises he made to Morgan.

After Jax talks about how he’ll miss Morgan, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) brings Josslyn Jacks (McKenna and Karleigh Larson) over. Jax tells Josslyn that he has to leave town for a while, but he vows that he’ll be back. Once Jax asks Michael and Morgan to look out for their sister, Jax gives Josslyn a kiss and heads out.

General Hospital Soap Spoilers: Sonny & Brenda Argue Over Jax

Meanwhile, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) feels certain Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil) has come for a goodbye of her own. They debate what Sonny did to Jax, but Sonny thinks the real issue here is that Brenda seeing Sonny’s true colors.

Sonny asks if Brenda would stay if he apologized to Jax. Would handing over the business to Jason change Brenda’s mind about leaving him? What about making the move to California? Brenda wonders if Sonny would really do those things, but Sonny ultimately suggests that he’s too selfish to love Brenda properly. It’s all about power for Sonny and he won’t give that up for anyone, including Brenda.

Sonny feels like he put on an act so he could be with Brenda, but he was never really that man. Once Brenda takes off her rings and returns them, Sonny gets choked up. He assures Brenda that he’ll always love her, no matter where she goes.

After Brenda departs, Sonny breaks down in tears. He’s later joined by Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), who never liked Brenda but still feels bad for Sonny. Carly thinks it’s unfair that Sonny lost Brenda due to helping Carly, but Sonny feels this breakup would’ve happened one way or another. Sonny reflects on the changes he saw in Brenda when Alec Barrett (Quinn Friedman) came back into her life.

Once Carly meets up with Michael, she finds out about Jax’s decision to leave Port Charles. Carly confesses that wasn’t the outcome she wanted. Although Michael’s worried about his mom, Carly contends that she’ll be OK as long as she’s got her kids.

In Brenda’s hotel room, she brings Robin Scorpio (Kimberly McCullough) in the loop on her decision to leave Sonny. Brenda shares that she’s headed to Rome with Alec and provides an envelope for Robin to give Sonny.

After Robin’s gone, Jax shows up and realizes Brenda also plans to leave town. Since Brenda hasn’t finalized any travel arrangements, it’s decided that Jax will take Brenda and Alex to Rome on his private jet.

Back with Sonny, he gazes pensively at Brenda’s rings before talking to someone over the phone. Sonny learns Brenda got on board Jax’s private jet with Alec, which brings a good dose of rage! Sonny wants his own jet ready so he can take a flight of his own.
