General Hospital Spoilers Tuesday, June 16: Morgan & Ava Surrender to Steaminess – Sonny’s Out of Control, Carly Wants Him Back on Meds

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Tuesday, June 16, tease that the ABC soap has a fantastic classic in store. GH will throw it back with an episode that first aired on September 24, 2013. General Hospital spoilers say this is what fans have to look forward to in another terrific encore.

At home, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) work to comfort their crying baby. Little Connie Falconeri can’t be consoled for long, so Lulu feels like she’s failing as a parent. Dante suggests it feels like Connie longs to be somewhere else, but they manage to settle the baby down in the end.

General Hospital Spoilers & Updates: Maxie Jones Busts Spinelli

Meanwhile, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) catches what she assumes is a prowler. She hits him over the head only to realize it’s Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson). Spinelli confesses that he came to get his gym bag, but he was trying to be sneaky about it to avoid Maxie. They debate the baby lie and how Maxie was willing to hurt Spinelli, but she tries to explain.

Maxie couldn’t bear the thought of breaking her promise to Lulu, who wanted a baby more than anything. The new pregnancy allowed Maxie to fix that, but Spinelli’s still in pain. Even so, Spinelli assures Maxie that he doesn’t hate her.

At GH, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) enjoys a picnic by nightlight thanks to Silas Clay (Michael Easton). They connect over their pasts while Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) gets a lecture from Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). Carly’s upset over Sonny making a scene at Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) and Kiki Jerome’s (Kristen Alderson) wedding reception.

Sonny doesn’t think Carly supported the relationship anyway and feels she should be grateful. Carly has a big problem with the way it all went down. She feels Sonny hurt Morgan deeply, but Sonny argues that Morgan needed to own up to what he’d done.

GH Spoilers: Carly Encourages Sonny To Take His Meds

Carly contends that Sonny’s decision to go off lithium is affecting his behavior. She works to convince Sonny that he shouldn’t let darkness swallow him up. Carly wants Sonny to be a positive role model for their kids. She gets Sonny’s pill bottle out of the trash and suggests he needs to do what’s right to honor Connie Falconeri’s (Kelly Sullivan) memory.

While Sonny relents and takes a pill, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) finds Kiki looking glum after her wedding reception. Their conversation leads to the realization that they both love each other, but Kiki reminds Michael that Morgan is her husband. Michael notes that Kiki can get the marriage annulled. He gets that there’ll be obstacles, but he wants to be with Kiki and kisses her.

GH Spoilers & Updates: Morgan Corinthos Kisses Ava

Morgan makes his way over to Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) place, where she lets him in and commiserates with him. Once Morgan rants about Michael being the only one that matters in his family, he shares a moment of connection with Ava. Neither one of them has anybody else to lean on. They begin kissing passionately until Ava pulls back and delivers a slap across Morgan’s face.

Morgan doesn’t know what he’s doing, but he doesn’t care. He goes in for another kiss and Ava lets him. Morgan and Ava start undressing to hook up, so this will definitely be a memorable episode for many fans out there!
