General Hospital Spoilers: Unwanted Family Reunion, Dex’s Dangerous Dad Shows Up In Port Charles?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease an unwanted family reunion may take place if Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) dangerous dad shows up in Port Charles. Since the show is bringing new characters on to flesh out Adam Wright’s (Joshua Benard) over the top parents, why not Dex’s?

General Hospital Spoilers – Dex Heller Opened Up To Josslyn Jacks

At Christmastime, Dex opened up to Josslyn Jacks (Courtney Fulk) about his childhood and what a difficult one it was.

His dad was a cheating scoundrel who beat up his mom and let his brothers beat Dex nearly to death-if he shows up in town the reunion would be hostile.

GH Spoilers – Nothing Good To Say

Dex had nothing good to say about his father, and since the show is delving deeper into the drama between Adam and his parents, bringing Dex’s to the forefront could happen.

Many had high hopes that John Brennan (Charles Mesure) could be Dex’s, but since he was written off in a hurry that won’t happen. Dex is a major character where Adam is a minor one, so he deserves a family background storyline even more.

Brennan was Australian and wouldn’t have fit anyway, although they certainly could have made him an associate of Josslyn’s uncle, Jerry Jacks (Sebastian Roche).

It would be best if the show brings on someone new to play Dex’s dad, and perhaps his mother could come on as well.

General Hospital Spoilers – Difficult Decisions

Dex will soon be facing some difficult decisions regarding his role in Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) organization, especially in regards to what lines he’ll cross.

If his dad shows up, he could make a big mess threatening to expose some scerets-like Dex starting out as Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) plant if he figures it out.

Dex could even be faced with permanently taking out his own father, should he emerge as an enemy of Sonny’s, and possibly a brother or two as well.

Dex feels nothing but animosity towards his father and his brothers as well, so bringing at least the dad on the scene could provide some good drama.

GH Spoilers – Family Ties

It would have been interesting for the show to do a Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna)-Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) type story for Dex. Since he was meant to replace Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) making him Jason’s son would have been cool.

However, since Dex’s family background has already been written before Steve announced he was coming back, that won’t work.

But making Dex’s father an enemy of Sonny’s could be very dramatic, and the show definitely needs some new mob blood. The five families have shrunk down to two, and even that is questionable-where’d Selina Wu (Lydia Look) disappear to?

      Jason could still be Dex’s father if he didn’t know about his birth. Dex could have been raised by a step father who hated him and that hatred passed along to his step brothers. Step dad could have been jealous of Dex and his mom so the beatings for both began. It would be a great story to find out Jason is indeed Dex’s father!

      Any way the show could lower the background music ? It’s so loud you can’t even hear the actors lines.

      I would love it if Dex were a part of Ava Jerome family. She needs to have someone from her family on the show as well. Everyone on the show have family members, that they can reliant on except her. That would make a good story to have someone from her pass show up to be Dex Dad.

      I am really excited that the real Jason Morgan it back. There are going to be some exciting stories around everyone in Port Charles that is going to combining Jason and even Sonny in just about everyone’s business.
      Just a personal remark about Steve Burton. He has some major facial changes along with the same body he left with. He has changed his diet significantly. It has caused such a dramatic change to his face. A lot of personal things including the Pandemic that we are all aware of. with these changes that were in his control, he added all the diet changes and body building to take the place of the things he lost. He used to have enough a little fast that

      Dex could have been adopted or is his mother’s son with a different man . That would explain why his Father and brothers singled him out for abuse. He could still be Jason’s son.
