General Hospital Spoilers: Valentin’s In Deep In Victor’s Trap

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease in this week’s Soap Opera Digest that while Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) isn’t in the kind of trap he feared, he’s still trapped. It’s just a trap of a different sort, one meant to keep him away from Port Charles and distracted.

General Hospital Spoilers – Not A Death Trap

When Valentin told Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) he was being forced on Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) plane, he thought a visit to Charlotte Cassadine (Amelie McLain) would be a ruse. He was certain that he was being forced into a death trap and that his father and Victor’s men were getting rid of him. Instead, he is pleasantly surprised to finally reunite with his daughter after months of Victor having her squirreled away in an exclusive European boarding school using her to control him.

General Hospital spoilers say Valentin was naturally suspicious when Victor had told him he could finally go see Charlotte, but it had to be on his terms and right then. It cut right to the core of who he is as a father who wanted to see and be with his only child again after months.

GH Spoilers – Not All It Seems

However, once Valentin is reunited with Charlotte, he does his best to convince her all is well, all the while trying to figure out how to rescue her. Valentin definitely puts on a brave face in an effort to shield his daughter from the gravity of the situation and what he knows is truly happening. But soon, he has to try even harder to keep Charlotte from telling that there is much to fear when he gets a message from Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner). He receives the terrifying news that not only is Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) missing and presumed dead, Anna has been framed and is sitting in a jail cell awaiting trial. So now, it becomes of the utmost importance to Valentin to get himself and Charlotte back to Port Charles safely, keeping Charlotte safe while rescuing Anna.

General Hospital Spoilers – An Unexpected Rescuer

Even as Valentin is trying to figure out a way of escape, he immediately realizes this trip was designed to get him out of the way so Victor could frame Anna. He attacks the henchman that Victor has guarding him and Charlotte, but the guard gets the upper hand, and Valentin finds he needs rescue. Someone very surprising comes to his rescue and helps overcome the henchman just in time.

This is a totally unexpected rescuer, and it could be anyone from Charlotte, with the ten year old bully coming out in her, to her grandmother Laura Collins (Genie Francis). But with Charlotte’s mother being Lulu Spencer (most recently Emme Rylan) and her father Valentin, no one should count the now fourteen year old out!
