General Hospital Spoilers: Valentin’s Medical Crisis – He Lands In ICU!

General Hospital: Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart)General Hospital spoilers tease that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will land in the intensive care unit at General Hospital due to the need for an exploratory surgery that the US Consulate hospital in Greece cannot provide. This should happen during the week of October 25.

General Hospital Spoilers – Valentin Cassadine Was Taken Hostage By Victor Cassadine

A previously leaked General Hospital script shows that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) talks to doctors in the US Consulate hospital about Valentin’s need for surgery. This is the same hospital that Anna and Valentin found the real Nurse Chloe Jennings (Phoebe Kuhlman) in recently. This shows that the situation that brought up the need for Valentin’s exploratory surgery came up in Greece. One option is that after years of doing just fine, something could have happened related to Valentin’s past surgery for scoliosis and is causing severe symptoms.

The fact that the surgery needed is exploratory shows that it may or may not be a current injury such as a bullet that the doctors cannot find. That would be too obvious for the need for an exploratory surgery. Chloe suffered a head injury in her car accident and was in a temporary coma, but she did wake up and come out of it. The tests needed to diagnose her were available, so it’s not like Valentin is in a witch doctor’s hut! Valentin’s past surgery could have been experimental as well, but it looks like General Hospital has the equipment necessary to diagnose and treat Valentin.

General Hospital Spoilers – The Consulate Hospital Cannot Perform This Surgery

Of course, considering Valentin has been taken hostage by a Cassadine, in fact Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) who knows what might have been done to him! Longtime General Hospital viewers will recall that Victor was the head of the Crichton-Clark Clinic which did a lot of strange and experimental procedures. He also worked closely with Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers), and there were experimental medical facilities not only on Cassadine Island but under General Hospital at one time – that’s where Peter August (Wes Ramsey) got stuffed into a morgue freezer on the presumption of death!

General Hospital viewers will also recall that memory transfers between sets of twins were performed, Anna herself being one and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) being one. Drew arrived to Port Charles with a control chip implanted in his brain, which was removed by Dr. Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson). Victor makes some horrendous edicts, which may relate to Valentin’s captivity. If something like an implant was done to Valentin or an experimental procedure was done, then the US Consulate Hospital may well not have what it needs to even diagnose the problem!

GH Spoilers – Anna Devane Isn’t The Only One Worried About Valentin Cassadine

General Hospital viewers know Anna will be terribly worried about Valentin. Old feelings both of them have been hiding for years have been coming to the surface, especially being on a spy type caper together. General Hospital spoilers tease that Anna will be the one to find Valentin in Victor’s compound and realize something is terribly wrong! She will get him back to Port Charles where he lands in General Hospital’s intensive care unit. She won’t be the only one worrying over him – viewers can imagine how panicked Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) will be over her papa! Her mother is in an indefinite coma in New York City, so she is probably pretty scared.

General Hospital Spoilers – Who Will Care For Charlotte Cassadine?

General Hospital viewers know Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will undoubtedly step in to support Charlotte and help Valentin with her in his time of need, or at least offer to. Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will be part of the care team that watches over Valentin in the intensive care unit. She will also likely worry over Charlotte and assure Valentin that she’s being taken care of, possibly by Nina or some of the Quartermaines since that is where she lives. Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) may step up to care for Charlotte since she lives in the Quartermaine mansion and down the line, if she does indeed step up for Charlotte, it could redeem her somewhat.

General Hospital viewers know that BLQ is holding a secret and eventually the truth will come out that “Bailey Lois Quartermaine” (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) is really Louise Jones August, and not Valentin’s baby at all! Valentin will be angry at BLQ but if she’s provided excellent emotional care to Charlotte while he has been in this crisis, that might count for a lot in his book! As far as Anna and Valentin are concerned, once he’s on the mend that relationship might finally be consummated as well!
