General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) may be on the verge of taking the Quartermaine’s business away from them. GH fans may recall that recently Valentin spoke to Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) about moving forward with the next step in their plan to buy up shares of ELQ.
General Hospital Spoilers – Valentin And Martin Nearly Have ELQ
As GH viewers may know by now, Valentin has been working with Martin Gray to buy up a controlling share in ELQ. The pair first started off by conspiring to get the ELQ shares owned by Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier). Martin acted as Nelle’s attorney under the orders of Valentin and was able to get all kinds of juicy info that Valentin was later able to exploit. In fact, Valentin knew exactly what Nelle wanted, and he then helped her get it.
In addition to a hefty sum, Valentin provided Nelle with forged passports and birth certificates. Valentin then urged Nelle to make a happy life for herself somewhere far from Port Charles. At the end of the day, of course, Valentin had Nelle’s ELQ shares.
Valentin and Martin’s next target was the spoiled brat of Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth). Martin knew that Brook Lynn’s music producer, Linc Brown (Dan Buran) was holding her hostage to her recording contract. As everyone knows, Valentin saw an opportunity in that arrangement.
Valentin and Martin secured Linc’s cooperation, and let Brook Lynn know that in exchange for her ELQ shares, she could be free of Linc’s sleazy influence. GH viewers know that now, Valentin holds Brook Lynn’s ELQ shares. Valentin and Martin are on the verge of a major win!
GH Spoilers – Martin’s Got Another Target At ELQ
GH viewers who were paying attention noticed that during Valentin’s call to Martin not long ago, he suggested that more ELQ shares are at play. Who owns those ELQ shares, however, is the million-dollar question. Certainly, Martin cannot be going after Ned’s shares.
Ned would never part with his shares under any circumstances. Martin can’t be making a move on Michael Corinthos’s (Chad Duell) shares either. It doesn’t make sense. Who else then, out of all ELQ’s shareholders, may be vulnerable?

Could it be the Quartermaine’s housekeeper, Alice Gunderson (Bergen Williams)? After all, she owns almost as much as Brook Lynn did. However, Alice doesn’t seem to have any skeletons in her closet that Valentin might leverage.
What about Dillon Quartermaine (Robert Palmer Watkins)? Dillon has plenty of scandal in his past of which Valentin could take advantage. Now, GH fans may consider the fact that Nelle owned 5% of ELQ. Brook Lynn owned 6.5%. This brings Valentin’s total to 11.5%. Valentin is now on equal footing with Ned Quartermaine in terms of company ownership! Only Michael Quartermaine owns more ELQ stock at 18%.
If Valentin were to acquire Dillon’s shares, which are also 11.5%, this would push him over the top. With 23%, Valentin would be catapulted to a position of supremacy!
General Hospital Spoilers – Valentin Pulls Out All The Stops
While at this point it’s still unclear why Valentin is pushing so hard for ELQ, it’s clear that he’s willing to break the law to get what he wants. Valentin’s already made Nelle’s forged documents disappear from PCPD custody. What else might Valentin be willing to do to accomplish his ends?
GH viewers may agree that with buying up shares in major companies all over Port Charles, Valentin is set to put the shame of learning he’s not really a Cassadine behind him. With Deception, ELQ, and other significant firms under his control, Valentin is going to be a Port Charles player to be reckoned with!
