General Hospital Spoilers: We Have To Ask: Is Hook-Up In Store For Anna And Jason?

General Hospital spoilers reveal Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Police Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) have certainly seen another side to one another this year.

Since Jason’s return to Port Charles, he and Anna have worked closely to provide some justice to the people they care about — as well as getting Jason out from under the late FBI Special Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates’ (Adam Harrington) thumb.

General Hospital Spoilers — Anna DeVane Likes The Straight And Narrow

Anna was sympathetic to Jason’s plight and it was clear to him that she would honor his desire to protect Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). She could have turned on him and taken Carly down, but she didn’t.

Likewise, Jason was kind enough to let Anna indulge her feelings for Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), even though letting him go meant jeopardizing his situation with Cates.

The more that this duo works together than against one another, the more we’re questioning what kind of alliance — or more — may be forming.

The more that Anna gets to know Jason in a similar way that her daughter, Robin Scorpio Drake (Kimberly McCullough), once did, the more she likes him.

To be frank, Anna has never really disliked Jason, but she didn’t have the same level of respect for him before that she is coming to now.

Of course, she still doesn’t dig what he allegedly does for a living, but she’s overlooked plenty of those flaws in people before — including Valentin, her most recent suitor. Besides, his most recent move in calling the police when he stumbled upon a crime scene really impressed her.

Anna has always had a place in her heart for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), too — until this year. Suddenly turning on him and remaining steadfast in her commitment to uphold every letter of the law.

Anna is no longer willing to overlook Sonny’s transgressions in favor of her daughter’s feelings for the guy — feelings she somewhat adopted herself, and rather blindly.

Still, Anna is starting to realize that Jason and Sonny are not two peas in a pod as she always thought.
