General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that the West Coast mob threat mentioned recently could be a blast from the past that no one would ever believe. Might Frank Smith (most recently Joe Cortese) be on his way back to Port Charles?

General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos’ Organization Weakened

There’s no doubt that Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) organization is weakened, even with the recent partnership with Selina Wu (Lydia Look). Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) has been working hard on his vendetta, interfering with Sonny’s legitimate businesses and hiring a plant to take his mob organization down from the inside. He and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) have been working hard to gain Sonny’s trust, and Sonny’s ready to trust Dex as his new enforcer.

When Jennifer Smith (Holly Gagnier) was in French Polynesia trying to get the Ice Princess in that auction, she was talking to a West Coast partner. She wanted the Ice Princess to finance her and her partner’s “business” shortly before Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) showed up-could it have been her father?

GH Spoilers – Frank Smith Has Risen From The Dead Before

Viewers will remember that Frank has “risen from the dead’ before, the most recently in 2015, when Luke and Lucky Spencer (Tony Geary, Jonathan Jackson) shot him in Vancouver, Canada. Supposedly he really died that time, after having been presumed dead previously in 1994; however, Vancouver, Canada is just across the border from Vancouver, Washington – the West Coast.

Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) used to run his drugs up and down the West Coast before moving to take over Sonny’s Port Charles territory; which before Sonny, belonged to Frank. There seem to be a whole lot of coincidences here, too many to be coincidences; plus, Cyrus warned Laura Collins (Genie Francis) of a West Coast threat as well. There seem to be many connections in place already for Frank to reclaim his territory in Port Charles.

General Hospital Spoilers – Might Frank Smith Search For His Daughter?

Considering as a result of Valentin planting the Ice Princess in Jennifer’s safe and her being taken into custody by the WSB, might Frank also come looking for her? Frank may not care about the Ice Princess but he might care about his princess, his only living child; he’s heard nothing from her. He may have contacts who are reporting back to him about what happened unless it made it to the news.

Many people in Port Charles have either faked their deaths and returned, been presumed dead and were not, and a few even actually have been brought back to life. Might the next return from the dead be Frank Smith?
