General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) has taken a sudden interest in Lucy Coe’s (Lynn Herring) relaunch of Deception.

He approached Lucy with an offer to be the company’s sole investor, and although Lucy turned him down at first, circumstances quickly changed and she agreed to partner with Valentin? But what is Valentin’s sudden interest in the cosmetics company?

General Hospital Spoilers – A successful business?

It’s entirely possible that Valentin simply recognizes that Deception is likely to bring him a huge profit. After all, the company has been successful before and has brand recognition, so it may be less risky than a brand new start-up company. But it seems as though Valentin may have a more sinister motive. After all, his recent interest in ELQ was brought about by Valentin’s desire to get back at Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) for threatening him. Similarly, investing in Deception might be more about Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) than any type of good business sense.

GH Spoilers – Revenge!

As viewers know, the reason that Valentin began to look at taking over ELQ because of threats that Michael’s made about his hiding the fact that that he was the mastermind behind Michael’s girlfriend, Sasha impersonating Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) daughter. Sasha is a partner at Deception, and it seems more than likely that he has plans to get revenge on Sasha now. There is any number of ways that Valentin can make that happen now that he will seemingly have a say-so about how Deception is run.

General Hospital Spoilers – Out of sight, out of mind

It would very easy to see Valentin demanding that Sasha be bought out. Or possibly sent overseas to handle Deception’s foreign market. He may very well want to see Michael and Sasha separated and eventually broken up, in order to exact his revenge. With the amount that Valentin has invested, Lucy will have no choice but to do whatever Valentin wants to in regards to Sasha. Chances are this will lead to Sasha leaving Port Charles one way or another.
