General Hospital Spoilers: What’s Wrong With Sonny? Nina And Carly Team Up!

General Hospital spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) is spinning out and no one knows why. Slowly but surely, Sonny has distanced himself from everyone who cares about him, except Ava Jerome (Maura West).

This seems like a strange decision given Sonny and Ava’s history. But unknown to anyone, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) has taken over the Pikeman Organization from Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure), who is serving time in Pentonville after being caught by Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna).

During a recent discussion between Valentin and Brennan, they revealed that they were responsible for the death’s of former mob bosses who have outlived their usefulness to the group.

Sonny remains their greatest target because he refuses to allow Pikeman to use the Docks under his control.

Assassins sent by Pikeman have failed time and time again to kill Sonny, so Valentin has another plan. Valentin knows Sonny’s biggest weakness: himself.

GH Spoilers – Valentin Cassadine Has Far-Reaching Power!

Valentin somehow made a deal with Sonny’s pharmacist to tamper with Sonny’s medication . Sonny is bi-polar and when he’s not on his medication, he is his own worst enemy.

He lashes out at everyone, both friend and foe. Valentin is well aware of this, so he had Sonny’s pharmacist give Sonny a prescription that only contains a small portion of the correct medication, the rest is a placebo.

Sonny’s judgement is most certainly off which goes a long way to explain his sudden closeness to Ava. It’s unclear if Ava is aware of the tampered medication or not.

Valentin may be secretly blackmailing her after framing her for the murder of Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth).

General Hospital Spoilers – Nina Cassadine Will Enlist Carly Corinthos To help her!

Nina and Carly hate each other, there’s no other way to describe their feelings for one another.

Once Nina gets over the shock of seeing Ava and Sonny’s new closeness, Nina may realize that something isn’t quite right. She might even go as far as to enlist Carly to help her understand what’s really going on.

Normally, Carly wouldn’t give Nina the time of day, but she has witnessed Sonny’s odd behavior first-hand. She’s also familiar with previous times Sonny hasn’t taken his medication so she may realize that’s what is happening again.

Sonny’s is actually taking his medication, or so he believes, it may take both Nina and Carly to figure out what’s really going on and save Sonny before he destroys himself.
