General Hospital (GH) spoilers expose the fact that while the venerable hospital may not yet be in quarantine, the rest of the world is! Which got me to wondering, if I had to be stuck in a little, itty, bitty hospital room with one of Port Charles finest, who would it be?

Upon careful consideration, which is not what this character has shown recently, I’d pick none other than Dr. Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan).

General Hospital Spoilers – Neil Needs A Friend

So, what would I get up to in quarantine with the good doctor? What else would I do with a therapist, but a lot of talking? Well, he’s a doctor for now, but that could change in a heartbeat, which is what I would try to get across to him.

Talking some sense into Neil, I would ask him if Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is really worth his license to practice therapy. I mean she is known best for chewing up and spitting out some tough hombre, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Julian Jerome (William deVry) among others.

Of course, if he wants to be her latest baby daddy then so be it….

GH spoilers –We Don’t Know Much About Neil

Next, I’d like to talk about his past—no not the part about him trolling online dating sites, the rest of his life. He is a cipher wrapped in a mystery bound up in a riddle, and darn it, I want to know more about him!

We understand that he lost a daughter, which has got to be the worst thing that has ever happened to him. I admire his dedication to her memory, and this shows that beneath his lack of judgment where women is concerned, he has a good heart.

What else is there to the man: his parents, his schooling, his childhood? How does he like his steak? Does he sing in the shower? You know, the important things in life.

Lastly, it would be a shame to let all of that quiet time go to waste while we’re in quarantine—of course, I’d get his advice about love in the time of cholera – or coronavirus, take your pick.
