General Hospital Spoilers: Will Anna Return To Take Down Peter?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that Finola Hughes’ annual summer vacation is over and she should be back on our screens very soon as Anna Devane. General Hospital viewers will note that a lot has changed since Anna left Port Charles.

Peter August (Wes Ramsey), who may or may not actually be Anna’s son, has been reverting to his criminal ways. Anna opened her heart to Peter, and although he wanted nothing to do with her at first, he has slowly softened toward her.

Anna has chosen to give Peter the benefit of the doubt when it comes to Peter’s past actions. But as recently seen, Peter was a lot more involved in Drew’s kidnapping and was working with Helena Cassadine willingly.

General Hospital Spoilers – Peter August Ordered A Hit On Andre Maddox

And even more recently, he was the one who ordered a hit on Anna’s old friend, Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) as well as Drew (Billy Miller). Andre survived but now that Anna has had some time away, has she started to put the pieces together.

Anna is an excellent investigator and it’s possible that while away, she has started to piece together Peter’s dubious past. She also might have discovered that her memories of giving birth to Peter actually belong to her twin sister Alex (Anna Devane).

All of this may have given her some clarity. When she returns she may decide the best thing she could do for Peter would be to see him pay for this crimes, before he hurts someone else. Peter is spiraling and Anna will want to set things right.

But now, Anna can make it her mission to get the proof needed to take Peter down. Whether or not Peter is her son or her nephew, this will still be difficult.

Peter absolutely had a difficult childhood but he needs to take full responsibility for everything. Peter wouldn’t take kindly to this so a fierce showdown between the two of them will bring all the drama.

Will Anna be the one to bring Peter to justice? Or will she turn a blind eye and help him escape? Anything can happen in Port Charles. Anna’s return is sure to be exciting and you can watch it all unfold on General Hospital, airing weekdays on ABC!
