General Hospital Spoilers: Will Ava Heed Carly’s Advice and Ask Sonny For Help Before It’s Too Late?

General Hospital spoilers spill Ava Jerome (Maura West) has been on edge lately. Who wouldn’t be? At every turn, Ava finds a secret note from someone in her home or purse that lets her know someone has been around her and in her penthouse apartment without her being aware of it.

How chilling! She is convinced that Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) is out to get her, and worries he may be angry enough to risk everything coming back to Port Charles just to seek revenge on her.

Moreover, the notes they’re sending — along with a picture of a very dead Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) — clue her in to just how serious of a person she’s dealing with. Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) called Ava out for acting cagey and scared. She urged her to let Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) help if she was in over her head — but will she?

Carly knows a thing or two about Sonny and how he handles a threat. She’s needed him to bail her out on more than one occasion.

She also knows how much she doesn’t like doing that — especially since the end of their most recent marriage.

So she can’t really fault Ava for wanting to handle her own affairs and not bank on Sonny to fix her problems for her.

Besides, the guy always holds it over their heads and likes to remind them of his good deeds when it serves him most. She knows Ava doesn’t want to deal with Sonny having any more dirt on her than he already does.

GH Spoilers – Report Ava Jerome’s Reluctance to Call on Sonny Never Makes Sense

If someone is bothering Ava, he could get to the bottom of it. Ava was raised in the mob world.

She knows it well and should be able to instantly trust that Sonny could help her out, and yet she refrains from looping anyone who actually matters in on the problems she’s facing.

At this point, Ava stands to lose very little by asking Sonny to help her. In fact, she could be putting everyone around her at risk by not telling Sonny or the police what is going on. Why not go to the cops about the picture she found in her belongings that has nothing to do with her?

Why not tell Sonny so he can be aware that whoever killed Austin is connected to Ava? Could there be more to the story than we know yet about Ava?

Rumor has it Ava thinks she can weather this storm on her own. Typical Ava, right? She’s willing to risk Avery Corinthos’ (Grace Scarola) safety — knowing someone has already been in their home — just to figure out who this person is on her own and try to keep her name out of the mouths of those at the PCPD? It appears that way.

Still, by the time Ava goes to Sonny and tells him all that has transpired, he’s going to be fuming that she waited so long.

It’s possible that other people may pay a price for her hesitancy along the way, which will only make her more hesitant to say a word.
