General Hospital Spoilers: Will Brennan Side With Sonny If It Means Protecting Carly?

General Hospital spoilers gossip WSB Agent Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) has a thing for Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), and we just might get a glimpse soon of how far his affection for her extends.

Will he compromise his position with the federal agency and possibly his freedom just to make sure Carly holds onto hers? Maybe. In fact, that might be the perfect way to kick up some dust for fans who sense the chemistry between them but can’t shake off Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) love for and loyalty to her.

Will Brennan give Jason a run for his money? Will this WSB agent risk it all — even going so far as to get Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) off the hook — just to spare Carly from the consequences of her own bad decisions?

Carly has time and time again come through for Sonny — even when he hasn’t deserved it. This time around is no different. He did shoot FBI Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates (Adam Harrington) in cold blood. It was premeditated.

Then, he arrogantly told Carly how to cover for him, without even telling her what she was covering for. And she accepted that!

Normally, everyone loves to paint Carly in such a strong light, as though she doesn’t take crap from anyone. But it appears she shovels it in from Sonny.

GH Spoilers – Gush Jack Brennan Keeps Doing Favors

Fortunately for Carly, any man who is charmed by her seems to take to her damsel in distress, no holds barred attitude rather well.

They always want to save her from herself — even though Jason is really the only one who calls her out and tells her she got herself into all of these messes.

As for Jack, he’s obviously into Carly and not beyond doing favors for her — like checking up on Lucky Spencer’s (Jonathan Jackson) whereabouts.

But will he compromise his role with the WSB by protecting Sonny just to keep Carly out of trouble too? We think he might

General Hospital Spoilers — When Will He Cash In?

Of course, Jack is a crude businessman. If he gives in to Carly’s request, we have to assume it’s because he expects something in return.

He may not say that up front, but we can imagine the kind of pressure that might come from him afterward when it’s his turn to ask for a favor.
