General Hospital Spoilers: Will Maxie Jones Ever Find Another True Love, Like Nathan West?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers note that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) is currently living the life of Reba McEntire’s “I’m A Survivor” country song. She’s a single mom, who adores her children, works her butt off to provide for them … and well, that’s about it. No fun nights out with friends, and her love life is non-existent.

As a legacy character whose mom and dad enjoyed plenty of romance in their heyday, Ms. Jones is a fan favorite who deserves someone by her side. So, when is the show going to give her a good leading man?

General Hospital Spoilers  – Maxie Jones Hasn’t Had Real Romance In A LONG While

GH spoilers suggest it’s been a hot minute since Maxie has enjoyed any real romance. While she was in a long-term relationship with Peter August (Wes Ramsey), as he was only fooling her about his road to redemption, does that even count?

After Peter, she had a fling with Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) and it was a massive failure, too. No real chemistry between the two, and it felt like they had a friendship more than sparks.

GH Spoilers – The Nathan West Factor

Maxie’s last great love was Nathan West (Ryan Paevey), but unfortunately, he died in February 2018 at the hands of his own father Cesar Faison (Anders Hove).

Ms. Jones and Mr. West were part of an incredible love story where they shared chemistry, sparks, and were one of Port Charles’s most popular super couples.

Since West passed, it’s been challenging for Maxie to truly connect with someone else. While there have been hints of a reunion between her and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), which would be wonderful, the show has seemingly dropped this idea … for now.

But is there anyone out there in Port Charles for Maxie right now (other than Spinelli)? It does seem as if the pickings are slim.

That is unless a new character was brought in or someone else from Maxie’s past was to return – looking at you, Dillon Quartermaine (Robert Palmer Watkins) or Dr. Matt Hunter (Jason Cook). Still, it would be wonderful to see Ms. Jones, dabble in some romantic fun, very soon.
