General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that if Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) discovers that Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) is plotting to take over ELQ and insert himself as the company’s CEO permanently, it could lead to war within the family.
GH fans who have been paying attention over the past month have seen Michael get slammed with one thing after another. From discovering that Wiley Cooper-Jones (Erik and Theo Olson) is his son, to then getting immediately slapped with a custody suite for his newfound son, Michael’s been put through the wringer!
To make matters worse, Michael left the door open for Ned Quartermaine to stab him in the back.
General Hospital Spoilers – Michael Corinthos Took A Step Back
GH viewers may recall that Michael felt the need to take a step back from ELQ and take a leave of absence in order to bond with Wiley. When he made the decision, he thought he was confiding in friends and family. He believed that he could simply find someone with the right experience, someone whom he could trust to hold the reigns of ELQ on a temporary basis, just until his return. Michael thought that person was Ned Quartermaine. After all, Ned was the CEO of ELQ at different periods of the company’s history!
However, Ned’s been plotting and scheming a return to ELQ’s seat of power, and there’s no room for Michael in that plan. While it doesn’t seem that Ned’s plans are entirely malicious (it’s doubtful that he wants to see Michael permanently hurt by his effort to retake the company) it hasn’t been revealed so far what kind of offer he’s willing to make Michael should the younger man discover his scheme.
One major question here is whether Ned can convince the major stakeholders in ELQ (many of whom are family) to support his move. Can he convince them that his ascendancy would remove an ineffective leader (Michael) and increase future profits?
GH Spoilers – What Will Michael Corinthos Do
Regardless of Ned’s moves, the question then becomes, what happens when Michael finds out? What options are available to him? Moreover, with the burden of an upcoming custody battle hanging like an albatross around his neck, will Michael have the mental and emotional fortitude to take Ned on?

Might Michael try to dilute ELQ’s shares? Could he make it appear that Ned’s efforts are actually hurting the company? Could Michael convince another wealthy associate or company to come in under his direction and buy up a controlling share, all under Ned’s nose?
The truth is, there are a number of strategies available to Michael should the need arise. If the truth is told, if Ned continues on his course, that need may become evident sooner rather than later. The bottom line is that GH viewers may see an ugly family conflict ignite in the very near future. The only question is whether Michael can keep his wits while also dealing with his custody issues.

If his family is willing to stick a knife in his back while he’s trying to protect his son from a lunatic I hope he sells every last percent he can to Valentin
No he should not sell, He should get all the help he can from Sonny and others that can back him to take over ELQ and get it away from NED. Ned and his daughter are slowly destroying ELQ
