General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest things are getting ugly between Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). The two continue to look for ways to strike back at each other; however, will a plot twist have them diving into a romance?
General Hospital Spoilers – A Major Clash Can Lead To Love
GH spoilers indicate that a lot of love stories in soaps start with conflict. After all, most super couples have a major clash between them before falling in love.
Is this storyline heading in that direction? As much as Sina fans hate to admit it, Nina’s relationship with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is crumbling.
The mob boss hates disloyalty, and while technically Nina didn’t do anything against Sonny, by not telling him she was the SEC informant, she broke his trust.
Meanwhile, Drew and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) aren’t the spiciest super couple in Port Charles, and their relationship lacks luster.
It’ll be interesting to see Carly’s eyes wonder once Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) returns, and his comeback to the little town could be the straw that breaks the camel’s back for Darly.
GH Spoilers – After The Dust Settles
If Nina and Drew do dive into a romance, it won’t be for months, possibly in the fall. Sina’s divorce will have to happen, and Darly’s breakup won’t occur for a long while.
Their rivalry is hitting fever pitch right now, and they’ll likely continue to strike back at each other for some time before any romantic intentions arise.
One step toward that direction though, would be Drew hitting rock bottom with his behavior issues.
Perhaps, he crosses a dire line in this rivalry that has him taking a step back. If someone gets hurt in his need for vengeance, he may realize he’s gone too far.
Drew needs to seek therapy for his prison PTSD, but until he crosses a line, he may not realize he’s that far gone (despite everyone advising him that he needs to talk to someone or get help).
After the dust settles, perhaps Nina and Drew use the hate-on chemistry they have for each other and re-direct it, for love.

GOOD LORD STOP WITH THE RIDICULOUSLY JUVENILE AND ANNOYING NAME COMBINING!!
PUTTING NINUTZ WITH DREW WOULD BE EVEN MORE PUKE WORTHY THAN HER WITH SONNY. FRANKLY I WISH SHE WOULD LEAVE GH PERMANENTLY!!!
Practice what you preach. The “ridiculously juvenile and annoying” name combining is a lot less ridiculously juvenile and annoying than calling Nina “Ninutz”. And Nina isn’t going anywhere, so you might as well accept it.
Nina and Drew in a love relationship would be absolutely awful. Nina is selfish and does not deserve to be happy. She is self absorbing..and so jealous of Carly it’s sickening!!!! Valentin is also self absorbing and turning out to be revengeful and a real winner!!!
Cameron Mathison should pair up with Rena Sofer so we can have them both remain on the show. Drew and Nina wouldn’t work any better than Drew and Carly. Lois would give Drew more excitement.
