General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) have been a part of the mafia for years. Jason had been injured in a car accident with his brother AJ Quartermaine (Sean Kanan). Jason suffered a brain injury which caused him to be at odds with his family. Jason met Sonny who could see that Jason needed a place to figure out what he wanted with his life.  Sonny ran a nightclub and was part of the mob. Jason decided that he wanted to help Sonny and become his confidant and enforcer. The Corinthos family has been the most powerful of the five different mafia families in Port Charles for years.

Recently Sonny has been getting to live a different lifestyle. Sonny was trying to find Julian Jerome (William deVry) to see if he would turn on Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Cyrus and Sonny had become rivals with their different mafia organizations. Sonny fell from a bridge in New Jersey and ended up in Nixon Falls, Pennsylvania. He has amnesia and believes his name is Mike. Sonny was taken in by Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) and Lenny Caulfield (Rif Hutton).

The only one from Port Charles that knows that Sonny is in Nixon Falls is Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). Nina can see that Sonny seems to have found peace without being a part of the mob. Sonny and Nina have been trying to protect Phyllis and Lenny from Elijah Crowe (Dan White) who wanted to buy their family business The Tan-O. Sonny and Nina have been able to stop Elijah.

GH Spoilers – Jason Morgan Has Had to Run From the Law

Jason had been trying to keep Sonny’s mafia interests from Cyrus. He wanted to keep Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) from having to be involved in Sonny’s mafia business. However, Cyrus found a way to frame Jason for Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) death. Jason has been trying to clear his name. He went on the run with Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) with the help of Carly, Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), and Brick (Stephen A. Smith). However, Jason had to return to Port Charles to save Spinelli from Cyrus. Jason was arrested again.

General Hospital Sonny and Jason may want to walk away from their mafia lifestyles. Sonny has seen how different his life has been while in Nixon Falls. He may get his memories back and want to let Carly take over his mafia business. Carly has taken over running Sonny’s organization while Sonny and Jason have been gone. Sonny may believe that Carly can run the organization without him. Jason has gotten into a relationship with Britt who has been diagnosed with Huntington’s disease. Jason may decide to leave the mafia business for Britt. Will Sonny and Jason find a way to leave the mafia behind them if they decide to leave their mafia lifestyle?
