General Hospital Spoilers: Will Valentin Take The Fall For Nina So She Doesn’t Lose Willow And Sonny?

General Hospital Spoilers hint Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is about to find himself pulled in multiple directions, and torn between two women who have meant the world to him.

Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is still reeling from being arrested by the WSB and publicly outed as a double agent. Losing her credentials, she’s trying to picture what life looks like if she’s not a spy — and how that life will jive with Valentin, who still is. He was worried that Anna had been so out of touch since the WSB let her go, and for good reason — this could change everything.

He knows that; it was his father who set all of this in motion, after all. At the same time, someone else is going to come into the picture who is desperate for Valentin’s help. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has been found out — and it’s only a matter of time before Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) wakes up and ruins her life, as far as she’s concerned. Will Valentin agree to take the heat in his place just to protect Nina?

General Hospital Spoilers — Valentin Cassadine Wants The Best For Nina Reeves

Valentin has never wanted anything less than the world for Nina, and he wholeheartedly believes she deserves that. The last time they sat down together to catch up, Nina filled him in on her life these days.

General Hospital: Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart)

She has a daughter, and he was thrilled for her while also still ashamed of the lengths he went to just to dupe her into believing Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattson) was her child once upon a time. He was happy to hear Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was treating her well, but he never thought to ask how Nina was treating him.

GH Spoilers – Suggest He Still Regrets How He Hurt Her

Valentin might be the perfect person to help Nina out in such a bind. He still harbors a lot of guilt about the way their marriage played out. He might never forgive himself for the lies he told and the way he hurt Nina, even if she has long since. If Valentin is looking for a way to atone for his sins, this might be it.

When Nina tells him how desperate she is to hang onto Sonny, and how afraid she is that she will lose Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) if she learns that Nina was behind the SEC tip on Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), Valentin just might take take the heat off of her himself.

General Hospital Spoilers — As Ned Quartermaine Sleeps, Valentin Cassadine Turns The Tables

Just before slipping at the Metro Court pool and falling into a coma, Ned learned Nina’s dirty little secret, and he was intent to see to it that her entire web of lies came crashing down upon her. Gloating in her face and racing to tell Drew the truth, Ned’s feet swiftly swept out from under him and now, Nina is living on borrowed time, waiting for him to wake up alongside everyone else.

Valentin could falsely admit to being behind the tip, which everyone would find believable since Martin ‘Marty’ Grey (Michael E. Knight) is his attorney, too. When Ned wakes up, Valentin may be able to work him enough to buy his silence — even if it means giving up his shares at ELQ. Will he do that for Nina? Absolutely. What will Anna think of his admission of guilt though? Stay tuned for more General Hospital news and spoilers just ahead to find out.

What a ridiculous thought to bring Valentin into Nina’s mess. Here again only proving Nina is for herself without consideration for anyone else. What a thing for her to ask Val to do. Writers both on spoiler sites and GH need to stop Nina’s continual spiraling to protect things she did without any assistance. If the character is going to be removed from canvas then okay I would suppose her continued spiraling could be accepted, but if she is to be redeemed in any way whatsoever, it needs to be stopped from all sources.
