General Hospital Spoilers: William deVry (Julian Jerome) Was He Fired Or Could He Leave On His Own Accord?

General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal Twitter fans can be brutal and often the actors will comment if they don’t agree with an opinion. Recently Will deVry defended James Patrick Stuart when someone claimed that he should be fired because Valentin Cassadine’s story has played out. Will states that he hasn’t been fired but there are major hints that Julian Jerome is soon to be exiting. What has happened to spark these rumors? Could deVry have quit instead of being Fired as some assumed?

General Hospital News Update

Original rumors were that both William DeVry and General Hospital’s Emme Rylan, who plays Lulu Spencer, were fired. However, With Will stating that he wasn’t fired, perhaps he decided to leave on his own. In all honesty, why would Will want to stay? Will’s character, Julian Jerome, has been written into a corner and there is no way to write him out of it. Julian and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) were a hot item.

Fans could not get enough of Julexis, at least until Julian tried to kill her. Try as they might the writers could not win back all of the couple’s fan base after that horrendous storyline. Literally claiming that “the devil made me do it” even in the form of Julian’s psychotic sister Olivia Jerome (Tanja Walker) could not repair the damage. Julian putting that knife to Alexis’ throat was a deal-breaker for many fans. Julian had shot his sister for less before, why would he threaten the woman he loved for her?

GH Spoilers – Other Relationships Failed Too

General Hospital’s Julian was in a productive relationship with Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) and they were a good match. Julian wanted to change his life and was doing good until Kim slept with Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth). Julian and Kim could not come back from that. Lastly, Julian was paired with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) which seems to have fizzled. If that wasn’t enough, Julian cannot possibly talk his way out of the mess he is in with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

Regardless of what happens… I'm not being fired. Just FYI. AND….if one of us were to be fired…. I'd rather it be ME since ol' @japastu has kids to support. Family over self.

Julian Jerome Helped Kidnap Sonny Corinthos’s Grandchild

General Hospital’s Julian knew when he helped Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) that there would be nowhere to run if Sonny found out the truth. Julian was a huge part of Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) suffering because he allowed him to believe his son was dead after learning the child’s true identity. Julian has known all along that Sonny would kill him if this came out.

There is no story that would be believable enough for the writers to attempt to change the story. Perhaps Will got tired of his character being trashed and realized that Julian has nowhere to go but out of town and decided to facilitate that himself.

Regardless of how it happened, all hint point to Julian and Will being gone. Will has also stated if he goes, he will not return. What does this mean for Julian? How will Julian’s exit happen and will it be for good?
