General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) is in a panic this week on the ABC soap
. The weekly promo shows her telling her supplier, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) that they have to stop dosing Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) now, and Sidwell doesn’t look real happy!
Nina Accidentally Dosed Jack Brennan With Drew’s Medication
GH fans will remember in a recent episode that Willow’s mother, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) accidentally stabbed Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) in the back with Drew’s “medication”.
The “medication” of course, is a paralytic that mimics a stroke and keeps the “patient” in locked-in syndrome, not able to move, although they can blink their eyes and breathe.
When it came to giving Jack his second dose, as he was in a room in the General Hospital Intensive Care Unit, Nina didn’t have the heart to jab him as he woke up!
Sidwell and Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) knew about the accidental jab to Jack, and Cullum decided he needed to stay “locked in”.
But they don’t know that Nina didn’t give Jack the second dose, and that they’re keeping it their secret!
Carly Spencer Had A Valid Point, And Perhaps It Has Sunk In To Willow
When Jack first came to the hospital, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) hassled Nina, talking about how strange it was that two men had strokes in the same house, two or so months apart!
She rambled about black mold and other things, but Nina was clearly rattled, and she was worried as she told Willow about it.
Perhaps it took a little while, but Willow realized that those kinds of questions could bring a problem and more questions, and the focus shouldn’t be maintaining a lie.
When she practically ORDERS Sidwell to stop dosing Drew-even though she puts it as “we”-he looks like he doesn’t appreciate her tone!
Discontinuing Drew’s Doses And Letting Him Heal Looks Better Than Keeping Him Locked-In?
Sidwell may well think Willow must have lost her mind-does she not think that Drew won’t turn both of them in for the dosing, as well as anything else he’s overheard?
That’s a much bigger risk than keeping both Drew and Brennan dosed (although they don’t know yet that Brennan’s not!) and both men stroking out in Drew’s house simply a sad coincidence.
Willow appears very stressed as she’s giving her “order” like she’s feeling backed into a corner and trying to pull Sidwell in with her.
It seems like perhaps Willow is panicked, especially if she finds out Jack is no longer in the hospital and can’t get information on his release.
She apparently is more afraid of what will happen if both men stay locked in, than she is if Drew is not and tells what he knows!
