General Hospital Spoilers: Willow’s Love For Wiley Wins Out – Drives Her Into Michael’s Arms

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Willow Tait (Kate MacMullen) has changed her mind about remaining in Wiley Cooper-Jones’s (Erik and Theo Olson) life. In a scene with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), Willow tells her boyfriend that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) should run away from her if he had any sense.

She feels Michael should keep her out of Wiley’s life, but he insists that he wants the opposite. When Chase presses her on the issue, Willow admits that the more she thinks about it, the more she agrees with Michael.

General Hospital Spoilers – Michael Corinthos Believes Willow Tait Needs Wiley Cooper-Jones

Despite Willow’s reluctance and fragile state of mind, Michael believes that she needs Wiley and the toddler needs her. He tells Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) as much. In fact, he believes that although Wiley is not Willow’s biological son, Willow is more of a mother to the child than some birth mothers are to theirs. He confesses that due to that belief, he practically begged Willow to stay in Wiley’s life.

Later, Willow and Michael both attend the arraignment of Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier). There, they watch in shock as Nelle’s lawyer, Zara Amir (Maysoon Zayid) rips Willows’s testimony and calls it riddled with inconsistencies. As the prosecution’s case falls apart, the judge drops all charges against Michael’s former lover. Afterward, Nelle mentally and emotionally assaults both yet again when she brings a lawsuit against Michael in an attempt to gain sole custody of Wiley.

Of course, GH fans understand that if the cruel Nelle is remotely successful, then both Willow and Michael will suffer the loss of a child yet again! GH viewers will remember that many times, a comparison has been made between Michael’s grief when he thought he had lost a son, to the grief Willow now feels at the genuine loss of hers. In fact, one of the very first interactions between Willow and Michael was at a meeting for grief counseling!

GH Spoilers – Willow Tait’s Terrible Shock

Once Willow learned that Wiley wasn’t really hers, but was instead the son of Michael Corinthos and Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier), her shock was terrible. At first, she withdrew and struggled not only to understand how she felt but also with how to come to terms with the horrible knowledge she now possesses.

Now, one has to wonder whether these two sympathetic GH characters will draw closer to one another due to their shared pain. It may be possible that if Michael and Willow continue to spend more time together in parental roles that this connection could deepen. But, if this happens what will become of Chase and Sasha?
