Keeping Up With The Kardashians Can No Longer Compete With 90 Day Fiance

Keeping Up With The Kardashians Can No Longer Compete With 90 Day FianceKeeping Up With the Kardashians has been part of the Sunday night lineup for over 13 years. Many viewers have grown up with the famous family. Kendall and Kylie Jenner were just little girls when they started on the show. Whether you love them or hate them, we can all agree that Keeping Up With the Kardashians have become a pop-culture staple. Still, the ratings have declined in recent years, and fans believe the show could be coming to an end – especially since it can’t compete with another reality show that’s increased in popularity over the years.

Season 18 of Keeping Up With the Kardashians is moving to Thursday nights. Most fans have noticed that the show will air on Thursday nights instead of its usual Sunday night timeslot. Fans on Reddit discussed the surprise announcement. Some KUWTK fans feel that the move to Thursdays could be the show’s last-ditch effort to increase ratings for the struggling reality show. Keeping Up With the Kardashians has suffered from negative reviews and controversy over the years, according to Showbiz CheatSheet.

Fans also accused the Kardashian-Jenner clan of not being interested in the show anymore. One fan on Reddit noticed that the reason why the show is being moved to Thursday nights is that 90 Day Fiancé is on Sunday nights and KUWTK “can’t compete with that reality gold.” 90 Day Fiancé has become a fan favorite. While it’s still considered a newer reality show, it first premiered in 2014.

The TLC series follows couples who apply or receive a K-1 visa and have ninety days to figure out whether they should get married. It’s a simple premise that includes lots of drama.

Each season follows five or six couples, most of them who work on their relationship issues, as they get to know each other and decide whether they can take the next step. 90 Day Fiancé is a hit with viewers of all ages and has led to several spinoffs, including 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After as well as digital programs. 90 Day Fiancé knows how to keep things fresh unlike Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

With the increased popularity of 90 Day Fiancé and other Sunday programs, Keeping Up With the Kardashians may run out of steam. There are more shows to choose from on Sunday nights. Even Netflix is tapping into the reality market with its new shows, Love is Blind and The Circle. It’s likely that KUWTK is headed for a shakeup and moving it to Thursday nights could end the series.
