When Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) whipped out her binoculars in the January 27 episode, the show shifted to her perspective briefly. It allowed fans to see through Josslyn’s eyes as she gazed at Wyndemere in the distance.

Once GH viewers saw Wyndemere again for themselves, it led to some fury erupting on X (formerly known as Twitter), Facebook and social media platforms.

The new version of Wyndemere looks nothing like the old one and has left fans confused about the reason why. Did Wyndemere really need to undergo any updates when fans liked it the way it was?

Wyndemere now looks rather dull and stately, so it doesn’t have the same creepy vibe it had before. Viewers had grown accustomed to the castle’s unnerving quality over the years.

The show previously featured shots of Wyndemere in all its disturbing, ghostly glory. It felt like a true cursed Cassadine castle – and that’s exactly how it should feel!

This new version of Wyndemere definitely isn’t an improvement, so fans are calling for the show to change it back. It’d be simple enough to insert a picture of the former Wyndemere that fans truly love next time around.

We can hold out hope that the show will undo the decision and switch back to the old Wyndemere. This tiny detail doesn’t affect all the hot plots happening, but it’s also an easy fix that would mean a lot to irritated viewers.
