General Hospital Weekly Preview – Shocking Power Plays – Peter’s Deadly Plan – Will Drew Or Jason Die?

General Hospital spoilers tease that in this week’s General Hospital weekly preview, “Power Plays” Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) responds when Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) asks him to use his power to help her, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) confides to Diane Miller, (Carolyn Hennesy) and Peter August (Wes Ramsey) pits Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) against each other!

General Hospital Spoilers – Nina Reeves Wants Sonny Corinthos’ Help

General Hospital viewers will recall that Nina was arrested and faces charges in Llantano County, Pennsylvania for fraud and identity theft. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) had given a generous campaign donation to Richard Sheridan, (David Jahn) who is running for the important office of Pennsylvania Attorney General and he agreed to prosecute Nina in exchange for the donation.

General Hospital spoilers show that Sonny has a soft spot for Nina because he fell in love with her during the time he spent in Nixon Falls, Pennsylvania as the amnesiac “Mike”. Nina knows it too, and just because Sonny got his memories back it doesn’t mean that his memories made as “Mike” just went away, nor his feelings for Nina!

Nina, sitting at the bar in Charlie’s Pub asks Sonny if he plans on using his power to keep her out of prison. Sonny, from behind the bar sounds slightly threatening as he tells her she has no idea what he can do with his power!

GH Spoilers – Carly Corinthos Confides In Diane Miller

Longtime General Hospital viewers will remember that Carly’s friendship with Jason Morgan goes back literally years, even to before she ever met Sonny! At the Metro Court, Carly confides in Diane, and tells her that for the sake of her marriage, she will have to put her friendship with Jason on hold. General Hospital viewers will recall that Sonny was pretty upset when he realized that Jason and Carly’s marriage was more than a show for the Five Families and Carly had confessed to him that it would have been a real marriage “with all the bells and whistles” had Sonny not gotten his memories back and showed up in Port Charles!

As a matter of fact, he walked into his and Carly’s bedroom in the Corinthos compound just in the nick of time to prevent Carly and Jason from consummating their marriage, and Carly fainted at the shock of seeing him! Old feelings for Jason appear to be having a powerful hold over Carly’s heart for her to have to put their friendship on hold!

General Hospital Spoilers – Peter August’s Power Play

Meanwhile, on Cassadine Island, General Hospital spoilers tease that Jason travelled to Greece with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) in an attempt to find and rescue her mother, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati). In the process, they also found Jason’s twin Drew Cain, but he had been brainwashed by Peter!

General Hospital viewers will recall from last week that Jason found Peter and brought him at gunpoint to a storage building on the Cassadine compound there where he had left Britt by herself. Liesl had escaped Peter after throwing acid on his hand, and came to the storage building where a frightened Britt had accidentally harpooned her own mother!

Once Jason got Peter to the building, Drew, under brainwashing and a goon of Peter’s showed up and Jason was forced to throw down his gun as Drew had his trained on Britt’s head while he restrained her. Liesl lay on the floor and tried to get Drew to focus on Scout Cain (Ella Ramacieri) to fight the brainwashing!

Now, in the dark, it’s just Jason and Drew as he sees Drew unconscious on the floor in a room and he calls out for him! A scene of a confused looking Drew flashes with Peter’s goon behind him, then Peter, with an evil grin, says “one brother down, one to go!” Peter’s power play pits the two brothers against each other!
