General Hospital spoilers – Nancy Lee Grahn Speaks Out
According to Metro, “The iconic ABC soap has been in headlines over vaccine mandates after some of its stars appeared to speak out about the idea, however, Grahn (who plays Alexis Davis) continued to praise her bosses for choosing to ‘listen to science.’”
Thursday, she tweeted, ‘@GeneralHospital still remains ONLY Daytime Serial to mandate vaccines. Kudos to the leadership of @valentinifrank @ABCNetwork & @DisneyStudios. Smart leaders listen to science & protect their employees. As of Nov 1st entry to #gh requires proper vaccine card. No exceptions.’

She then noted, ‘Let me add that exceptions due to many medical issues get sorted out by ABC. They are qualified to make exceptions.’
ABC’s new mandate applies to those who work on set, both in front of and behind the camera must be ully vaccinated in order to work on set. The edict is meant to prevent the coronavirus health crisis from destroying GH’s production schedule.

Her post followed her earlier claim that GH was the only daytime drama requiring staff to be vaccinated.
She posted on October 8, ‘I am very proud to work on the ONLY Daytime Soap that has required that all performers, staff and crew be vaccinated.’ Another GH actor, Ingo Rademacher, has been vocal about the vaccination mandate. He has taken the opposite stand as Grahn, he has spoken out against vaccine mandates.
The issue was publicized when Grahn tweeted about unvaccinated staff at the same time Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) and Kelly Thiebaud (Britt Westbourne) were in quarantine with mild symptoms.
Ingo responded in a post: ‘Oh, my goodness! The Twitter world… the cesspool of cyberbullying at its finest. Unbelievable. The post that I made yesterday was not anti-vaccine.’
He further commented: ‘Let me be clear. It was not anti-vaccine. It was anti-vaccine passport slash mandate. Okay, I’m not for that.’
‘I think if you want to take the vaccine if you think you’re going to die from the virus go ahead and take the vaccine but know that taking the vaccine does not stop you from spreading the virus to others – there are plenty of breakthrough cases and I won’t get into the details but I know of personal ones, believe me, and all over the world.’
