‘General Hospital’ Winter 2025 Preview: Unexpected Romances, Explosive Villainous Return, “Violent” Exit

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest fans need to gear up for an explosive 2025! The soap’s head writers, Chris Van Etten and Elizabeth Korte recently had an interview with TV Insider offering a massive sneak peak on what’s in store of the land of Port Charles come the new year.

General Hospital Spoilers – New Romances + A Scary Goodbye

GH spoilers reveal a romance is in the works between two people many fans have been buzzing about!

During their interview, Korte and Van Etten confirmed that a new super couple to look out for is Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), as the GH head writers stated that the two will be in each other’s orbit more in 2025.

GH viewers know that Sasha is currently pregnant with Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) baby, and Korte and Van Etten state, as per Michael’s request, Jason will be placed in Sasha’s path.

Speaking of, Michael and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) will continue to remain at odds thanks to her one-night stand with Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) in the new year.

Fans know Michael is on his way out of Port Charles, very soon, so Korte and Van Etten did offer a hint surrounding his impending exit, noting that, “a shocking act of violence has his plans go up in smoke.”

More unexpected couples are on the horizon, including Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight)

However, fans should also brace themselves for an interesting alliance between Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring).

In fact, the GH writers noted that Sidwell will place roots in the little town come 2025, which will create some issues for Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis).

In addition, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will deal with a crisis, and Laura will have to figure out if she wants to help him or step aside.

GH Spoilers – More Sparks + Reunions

In other couples’ news for 2025, sparks will continue to fly between Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), as well as Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) and Ava Jerome (Maura West).

With that being said, GH’s head writers also state that Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) is still not “far from Ric’s mind”; however, he’ll have to contend with her other ex-husband as she and Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) work together to clear her name of the digitalis hospital scandal that will rock the little town.

It seems that during the week of December 30-January 3, reports will confirm that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) passed away because of this, and there’s a good chance Liz will be let go from her Head Nurse duties.

Still, despite the turmoil, the GH head writers promise that the chemistry between Lucky and Liz will be undeniable. Still, as they get closer to finding out the truth, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will also get closer to them, too.

Across town, GH head writers go on to tell TV Insider that while Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) is still in love with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), she’ll try to hold back on pursuing these feelings, as he’s still grieving Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) passing.

With that said, the writers warn the longer Lulu waits, the greater the chance that she could find herself looking at someone else, and the same goes for Dante.

Van Etten and Korte also imply that Brad Cooper’s (Parry Shen) attempt to win Lucas Jones’ (Van Hansis) heart back will hit a major snag when a handsome new stranger enters the picture.

In addition, the GH writers promise fans of ‘Vanna’ can expect the Anna Devane (Finola Hughes)/ Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) love story to continue. Korte and Van Etten note that Valentin will stumble into trouble in Prague, so can Anna help pull him out of this mess?

Meanwhile, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) will grow their bond as the undergrads deal with intrigue, adventure, and crises!

General Hospital Spoilers – Drama For Existing Couples …

Fans of Selina Wu (Lydia Look) should get excited as the queen mob bee will be back, but she’ll also cause drama for Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) marriage.

Speaking of married couples, Brook Lynn Quartermaine-Chase (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will also have problems erupt, and it sounds like this is all due to BLQ’s ‘secret’.

Interestingly enough, newbie pseudo-couple, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) will hit a roadblock, too. Will they be over before they even get started?
