General Hospital Spoilers: Chloe Lanier Fighting Coronavirus Symptoms

General Hospital actress, Chloe Lanier who assumes the role of Nelle Benson shared some health news with fans. She has a coronavirus scare. Lanier has been experiencing some symptoms of the widespread virus but was not able to be tested for an actual confirmation.
General Hospital – Chloe Lanier Opens Up About Health Scare
On her Instagram account she told her followers, “On Saturday, the first day of my quarantine, I developed a mild cough that eventually turned into a runny nose and fever. Aches/chills then made their way into the picture. Called my doctor. Had a Skype appt with them and they said because I didn’t hit all the symptoms laid out by the CDC, they could not test me. Then last night came the chest pain and shortness of breath. I went to the ER today where they again refused to test me because I’m young and there are very few tests to go around. The doctor said I “probably have it” but because of my age and overall health otherwise, I should continue to self isolate. I’m saddened because there are countless people who are being turned away from getting tests that could be infecting others who are more vulnerable. I hope this changes. I hope more tests become available in this country – and not only for the 1%. We need to take care of one another. I love you all. I’m going to binge a few shows, read, and rest up. Please stay inside and don’t take this situation lightly.”
The coronavirus has been spreading in several countries. Some have been infected and healed while several persons died in different countries. One person has reportedly died from the virus in Jamaica now. Lanier is not the only soap star to have this health scare in regards to the circulation of this virus.
Chloe Lanier Not The Only Soap Star Affected by Corona
Greg Rikaart who plays Kevin Fisher on The Young and the Restless and previously played Leo Start on Days of Our Lives also revealed to his social media followers of his coronavirus health scare. Luckily for him though, he seems to just be experiencing some symptoms of the flu although unconfirmed.
Lanier remains self isolated while she endures her current symptom. We are all saying a prayer for her speedy recovery whatever her diagnosis may be. She can be seen from time to time, weekdays on ABC’s General Hospital where her character, Nelle continues to stir up some dastardly trouble in Port Charles for Michael (Chad Duell) and his family.
