The General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that the show could do a tribute to Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) after the writers’ strike. Some fans have a feeling this could happen. Keep on reading to learn why.
General Hospital – Planning JZ/Bobbie Tribute?
The General Hospital spoilers hint that the show could work on a tribute to JZ/Bobbie after the writers’ strike ends. Unfortunately, there is no end in sight. It could resume at the end of this year or into early next year.
The show is currently working with scab writers, who may not be aware of the show’s history.
The user mamafenocchi wrote on the SoapCentral.com Message Boards: “I am hoping and praying that TPTB can convince AG/Luke to return if it’s only for one episode to honor his relationship with his on-screen sister.”
General Hospital fans took to the thread to share their thoughts. Some believe that Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) already paid his respects to the Zeman family on social media. He retired from acting and has no desire to return to the soap opera.
This comes after fans were livid that the soap ignored Zeman’s death. She passed away in May 2023 at the age of 70 after her short battle with cancer, according to her family.
Her death was announced by GH’s executive producer, Frank Valentini. However, the show never paid tribute to her character.
GH Spoilers – Let Anthony Geary Remain Retired?
Some General Hospital fans think the actor Anthony Geary should stay retired. One user argued: “Actors have a right to retire.
It doesn’t mean they don’t care about their colleagues. There comes a time when they decide not to work anymore and we should respect that wish.”
Another added: “I’m fine with a bunch of flashbacks, but honestly, I would rather the tribute be more about Bobbie/JZ than about Luke. If TG shows up it will be all about Luke.”
It would be disrespectful to JZ’s storyline since it would be all about Luke and his time on the show. Both of these characters need their own respective tributes.

But only if Anthony truly wants to return to the show. At this point, he made it clear that he’s retired from acting.
General Hospital fans say it’s not the writers’ strike that affected the tribute. Bobbie’s death would’ve been overshadowed by those closest to her. However, some believe that Bobbie/JZ should get the respect that she deserves.

A memorial for GH viewers should be planned whether by the scabs or GH writers. I don’t feel if TG should return for the memorial it will all be about him but each has his/her own opinions. More than sure, TG has reached out to JZ’s family but, what was said or done does not have to be shared with viewers. Both JZ and TG are missed on GH as they are an important part of GH’s history.
Jaclyn Zeman gave long time fans many beautiful years of entertaining storylines. She is missed because she was a bridge for us who had to cross into the newer genre of actors. We know her history and she is missed. AG is not in the equation. Jaclyn cannot be ignored regardless of who the writers are. GH would not have been the show it was without the likes of Jacklyn Z. She’s missed as a person, God Bless her family.
I think the celebration of general hospital big 60 years was cheated celebrating many people you could have done maybe some cameo actors or clips ,and also to tribute people no longer there and top people been there all years was Bobby spencer /Jackie z,and other that are so much changed and don’t wish to come on like Luke then to have clips with him and Bobbie early ones.because so many hrs some people have died too in real life and not just on the soaps.the soaps opera give so much happiness ,and never forget they are the character forever and can not be replaced.mostly. Because there were so many people that made it great also in the beginning years and sadly and has changed some and hope doesn’t anymore .and one actress that as been there for years and should be respect with some clips is Monica/Leslie Charleston .to at least because she got cut out with no ending that she have on the show something to her fans who wondered want happens to her in real life and in the show they bring up her name like she is not just to save the writers and abc/gh maybe Tracey has a letter or something..if like retired maybe would not like to come his choice,I love gh and hope see the pass great people and learn and don’t mess up in the future like you have done ,ruin the poor actor who played jaxs,ingo Rademacher was forever in memories who he is and did good job and instead of ruin this man’s life just quietly before covid was invented in the world should had took him off then telling. Him.easier less trouble
And don’t being back different person is bad taste.like look want they did to Steve /Jason and poor actors today are so good don’t ruin them,danta and Sam is sad .
