General Hospital Star Steve Burton Is Not Paying Attention To His Haters
For those in the know, Steve Burton went through hell and back a few years ago. He lost his job at General Hospital when he refused to comply with the network’s vaccine mandates back in 2021.
If that weren’t enough, he was caught in an embarrassing cheating scandal with his ex-wife, Sheree Burton in 2022. After Sheree had posted a photo of herself with a baby bump, Steve was forced to tell the world that it wasn’t his child. The couple soon filed for divorce.
Well, luckily for Steve, things turned around for him and pretty fast, too. Even though his co-star Ingo Rademacher was also fired for refusing to comply with the vaccine mandate during that same year, Steve quickly managed to find work again, while Ingo did not.
Steve was re-hired at Days of Our Lives to reprise his role as Harris Michaels. And before he knew it, Steve was back in Port Charles as General Hospital made the surprising move to rehire him as Jason Morgan once again.
What’s Next For Steve Burton?

On the personal front, Steve found love again with Michelle Ludstrom. The couple got married and are now living the good life with their blended family of kids.
However, there have been some bumps in the road. Earlier in the year it was reported that Steve was none too pleased that he had to move to Tennessee to be closer to his kids simply because he was spending less time with his then-girlfriend.
Sheree wrote at the time, “You’re just upset because I messed up your plan to be closer to your girlfriend. That’s fine. Live where you want but please stop already with the I moved and moved back.”
“Everybody knows it makes zero sense for you to be there. Zero. You want to be there so take responsibility for once and stop blaming me for everything.”
She added: “I accommodate every single time you want to see Brooklyn. I never stop you. I guarantee you if it was turned around you would not do the same for me.”
Luckily, Steve is not paying attention to his haters anymore – which also include some people from his past.

No one I mean no one has the right to tell a person how he or she should live their life Steve Burton you do what you need to do and the heck with the haters that just shows you with bad lives that they have
She’s the one who moved and forced him to move too, if he wanted to be near his kids. Sounds more like the bi tch ex is the one who wanted him away from the girlfriend. Too bad, she lost that one cause now they’re married AND he’s close to his kids. Karma sucks, honey.
