Hot General Hospital Spoilers: Laura And Robert Face Down Cyrus – Determined To Take Down The Drug Lord!

General Hospital spoilers tease that Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and District Attorney Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) will face down drug lord Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) in an upcoming episode of GH!

Cyrus Renault Made A Veiled Threat To Dr. Kevin Collins

General Hospital viewers will recall that Cyrus Renault made a veiled threat to Dr. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) as he was asking him some questions for a required evaluation. Cyrus told Kevin he’d know it if he was threatening him; of course, he is the mayor’s husband and that is not going to sit well with her!

Laura also told Robert she had some ideas of her own when it came to Cyrus, and she may have even been tempted to let Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) do a second “evaluation” on the evil drug lord – he’s pretty good even one-handed getting rid of opposition! Why not – they’re both in Pentonville Prison and Cyrus obviously has not met Ryan or he would have mentioned the resemblance to Kevin! Laura was very angry at Cyrus when she talked to Robert in last Thursday’s episode of General Hospital!

Cyrus Renault Has Done Some Very Evil Things Through His Henchmen

General Hospital viewers will recall that Cyrus Renault has done some very evil things through his henchmen; including something that affected Laura directly when she was on the docks with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) who was thought to be the target that time, and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) were in danger as well, although Laura herself was the one who took fire!

However, the attack on Jason Morgan, (Steve Burton) Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Mike Corbin (Max Gail) shook up poor Mike so bad he still has nightmares, and even worse, Laura’s grandson by adoption, Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and his dance date Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) were kidnapped, and Trina’s father, Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) was shot in front of her, and later died in General Hospital when a blood clot traveled from his wound to his brain!

And now, Port Charles Police Commissioner Jordan Ashford’s (Briana Nicole Henry) son, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) is missing as well and Laura was not brought in the loop and neither were Mac Scorpio (John J. York) nor Robert, and Laura is upset!

District Attorney Robert Scorpio And Mayor Laura Collins Tear Into Cyrus Renault

General Hospital viewers will also recall from Tuesday’s episode of GH that Jordan had met with Internal Affairs in the PCPD interrogation room and threw her former DEA teammates, the late Mark Simon, Bob Massicotte (Randy J. Goodwin) and Taggert under the bus, and passed Laura and Mac talking about there being a dirty cop somewhere on the force. Then the agent passed the three of them and told Jordan she would be hearing from the DOJ, or Department of Justice soon.

Laura and Mac asked her what that was all about, and she told them all that they needed to know was that it had to do with her and Cyrus. Laura had made a call and confirmed what Jordan’s story was, and Mac won’t believe Taggert broke the law to get a conviction – and ordered Mac to find out what’s going on. Cyrus might think he’s the cock of the walk, but he hasn’t tangled with Laura! She will give him a dressing down that rivals the worst showdown he ever had with his mother, and she will make sure that she and Robert have the proper legal tools in place to win over the evil drug lord!
