As many GH viewers know, Sonny was recently helping Mike to get some exercise. Sonny needed to get Mike out of bed, have him walk around, etc. so that he wouldn’t be bedridden to the point that he would have to learn to walk again. Sonny, therefore, convinced Mike to take just a five-minute walk around the nurses’ station at General Hospital. While Sonny and Mike took their walk, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Brando came in to visit. As everyone knows by now, when Mike saw Brando he gasped out, “You’re dead!”

Of course, everyone believed that Mike’s Alzheimer’s disease was kicking in. When Mike saw Brando, it’s possible that in his mind’s eye he was seeing someone that he believed was dead. Carly and Sonny tried to reintroduce Brando, and Mike then seemed to calm down and regain memory of him. However, as soon as Sonny led him back to his hospital room, Mike’s tune changed. Immediately Mike became fearful again and kept repeating that he didn’t know Brando.

At this point, GH fans might chalk everything Mike has said up to his disease and the confusion that it causes. Does Mike know Brando? Maybe yes. Maybe no. Could it be that Mike knew “a” Brando Corbin in his past, but the person who Sonny and Carly think is Brando, really isn’t? Could the Brando that GH viewers have been introduced to be an imposter? It’s a possibility.

Is it possible that the real Brando Corbin is dead, just as Mike said? Is it possible that the Brando standing in front of Mile was actually a doppelganger, someone who just happens to be a dead ringer for the real Brando? Might this Brando have taken on the original’s identity so well that no one would be the wiser … except for someone who knew the real Brando closely?

Maybe Mike truly doesn’t know who this Brando is. Of course, that raises a mystery. GH viewers ought to be watching closely to see how this plays out.

General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos Gets Suspicious

If Sonny listens to Mike and begins to be suspicious of Brando, it could be with good cause. Haven’t any GH fans noticed that Brando’s initial behavior did a lot to throw suspicions concerning his background out the window? He purportedly saved Carly’s life and then acted all upset that the Corinthos family wanted to keep him in Port Charles. However, now Brando is all smiles and seems to be ingratiating himself to Carly.

Could all of this simply be to get close to Sonny? Perhaps Brando is digging for information. Whatever the case, GH viewers ought to wait for the shoe to drop … just as Carly suggested to Brando recently. Could it be that this Brando is a law enforcement agent? Is it possible that he’s somebody who works for a rival mafia family? What are the probabilities that Brando is working for Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober)?

The bottom line, for now, is that Mike suggested that Sonny get all the security he needs to watch Brando. Maybe Sonny should pay attention.
