What Happens When Dante Returns To Port Charles?

General Hospital updates and spoilers tease that Dominic Zamprogna’s fans can’t wait to see him back as Dante Falconeri, and neither can the actor himself!

What would life be like for Dante upon his return to Port Charles? Let’s just say that nothing much is as he left it, and it would be quite a while before he was able to adjust to a new normal!

In a recent interview with Soap Opera Digest, Dominic said, that GH executive producer Frank Valentini is well aware of his desire to come back to the canvas. He added, “I’m ready to come home. And I’d be totally open to a contract. There’s so much potential with the character and the story right now. With everything they’ve done since Dante’s been gone, there are so many options and they’d all be fun to play.”

Before that he lit up the internet with a tweet about the most recent Flashback Friday in which he appeared opposite his onscreen dad Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

“I love that place, I love those people, and I love that job,” he said. Could he have made it any clearer?!

How will Dante deal with the fact that the love of his life has moved on from their marriage? Dante himself initiated the divorce, something that Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) tried to fight.

In the end, she signed the papers, and now she’s involved with town hottie Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson). This is not what Dante would have wanted prior to his exit.

But Dante did exit, and it was as a much different person than the one he debuted as. He had PTSD and was not fit to be a cop nor a husband and father.
