During an interview, an insider said that to the authorities, the grandmother is nothing more than a woman who clobbered her husband with a wine bottle. However, the tables could turn and Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) might switch sides at the last minute.

In the latest issue of Inside Soap magazine, it is teased that Yasmeen’s fate seems to be sealed. In a time when she needs support, it seems that nearly everyone is on Geoff’s side. Of course, this is all Geoff’s doing.

At Yasmeen’s bail hearing, Sally will show up along with Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine). They are there to support to alleged “victim,” Geoff.

Coronation Street spoilers indicate that while Sally does show up with Tim, she is really there to offer support to her romantic partner. She hasn’t voiced her concerns about the real truth, but her eyes suggest that it’s on her mind. It must be a complicated situation for Sally. What exactly is the truth and what is the right thing to do?

Saving Yasmeen Metcalfe

While Yasmeen will face an uphill battle as she is charged with attempted murder, Alya won’t be the only one trying to expose the truth. Sally knows a little bit about what Yasmeen was going through. Nothing directly, but just tiny little moments and comments that seemed like nothing at the time. By themselves, they don’t reveal much.

But put them all together, along with Yasmeen’s changed behavior and Alya’s statements, and Sally could end up making a shocking move. Could she end up surprising everyone, including Tim, by coming forward with information that could free Yasmeen?

We know that she will eventually be cleared, we just don’t know exactly how it’s going to happen. We will have to keep watching the ITV soap opera to see how this story develops over the next few months.
