Great American Pure Flix To Premiere These Five Original Faith-Based Dramas

Fans of Great American Family’s drama movies can look forward to these five new, original movies coming in August 2024. Airing on the company’s streaming network, Pure Flix, the following is a brief plot description and casting news for the new upcoming movies according to the press release.

1. God’s Country Song

Starring: Justin Gaston, Mariel Hemingway, John Laughlin, Christopher Michael and Justene Alpert

Premiere date:  Saturday, August 10, at 8 pm ET/PT

Plot:

This powerful story is about Noah (Gaston), who is on the verge of becoming the next great star in country music and doesn’t want anything to get in the way of his newfound glory, not even his kids. God’s Country Song is about second chances and leading a purpose-driven life.

2. Nothing is Impossible

Starring: David A.R. White, Nadia Bjorlin, Harry Lennix, Steven Bauer, Robert Amaya, Mark Christopher Lawrence, Stella Parton, Vincent De Paula, Marcus Haislip and Leanna Crawford.

Plot:

Nothing is Impossible tells the story of an NBA team that suddenly announces open tryouts. This gives a janitor who thought his lifelong dream had ended, a possible second chance.

3. Finding Faith

Starring: Ashley Bratcher, John Schneider, Jonathan Stoddard, Lenita Harris, David Moncrief and Vivica A. Fox

Premiere date:  Saturday, August 24, at 8 pm ET/PT

Nothing is Impossible sees Victoria (Bratcher), an anonymous Christian advice therapist, facing a crisis herself after tragedy strikes at home. Now, Victoria will be put to the test to understand what true faith means to her.

4. Divine Influencer

Starring: Lara Silva, Jason Burkey, Jesse Metcalfe and Micah Lynn Hanson

Premiere date: Saturday, August 31, at 8 pm ET/PT

Plot:

Divine Influencer features an entitled influencer (Silva) who is humbled by losing everything. She is forced to work at a homeless shelter to have a place to live. In turn, the influencer learns the real joy that comes from having a servant’s heart.

The Engagement Plan

Starring: Jack Schumacher, Mia Pollini, Judd Nelson, Eva LaRue, Ted McGinley and Faith Ford

Premiere date: Saturday, September 7, at 8 pm ET/PT

Plot:

In the Engagement Plan, Wade (Schumacher) has a plan for everything. His plan is to propose to his girlfriend, Kayla (Pollini), may be the crowning achievement of plans. With a 3-carat diamond ring and reservations at the Waldorf for his parents, Dash and Margot (LaRue, Nelson) and Kayla’s parents Ed and Mama Marilyn (McGinley, Ford) he marvels at the absolute perfection of his engagement plan. That is until his plan he hits a dead end on a dirt road, a country road. Kayla changes the plan to have Wade meet at her family’s farm to help her mom and dad whose cow is expecting a calf any day. Dressed in his business best Wade is a fish out of water, he has an unexpected and unplanned encounter with a family who is not convinced he is right for Kayla. Then Wade meets her ex-boyfriend, who tries to prove it.
