Apples, Orchards & Romance on Great American Family
The new, original movie, Apples, Orchards & Romance is set to premiere during the annual Great American Autumn programming event. According to Deadline, the movie tells the story of a teacher, Drew Granger (Trevor Donovan) who takes a temporary substitute job in his old hometown of Chestnut Hollow, Texas.

Who is behind the Great American Autumn movie?

Speaking to Deadline, Weston said she loves writing rom-coms for a number of reasons, adding, “First, I’m a diehard romantic who is still waiting for her own fairytale! Second I love bringing joy to people, whether through movies or music.” Riley continued, saying:
My hope is that a movie like this can take people out of their work week for two hours and give them a little getaway from reality. They always make me feel hopeful and I try to get that feeling spread to the viewers. It’s also so awesome when I get to write a movie for friends. Trevor and I have wanted to work on something for a while now and this was the perfect project.
Moreover, Apples, Orchards & Romance is executive-produced by Brad Krevoy, Jimmy Townsend, Amy Krell, Lorenzo Nardini, Trevor Donovan, Cara J. Russell, Susie Belzberg Krevoy, Kelly Martin, Jessica Lowndes and Don McCutcheon. Meanwhile, David Anselmo acts as a producer, James Mou and W. Michael Beard are supervising producers, and Victor St. Pierre is an associate producer. The movie is directed by Don McCutcheon.
Meanwhile, Apples, Orchards & Romance is one of two new Great American Family movies starring Donovan. He will also star in the upcoming holiday movie, Christmas by Chance.
