Zane Stephens On Great American Family Movie A Belgian Chocolate Christmas

As recently reported, Zane Stephens and Jaclyn Hales are starring in the movie A Belgian Chocolate Christmas on Great American Family. The movie, which airs as part of the network’s Christmas in July programming event, premieres on July 8. Digital Journal recently caught up with Stephens to find out more about the movie and his role in it.

A Belgian Chocolate Christmas on Great American Family

Premiering on July 8, A Belgian Chocolate Christmas stars Zane Stephens and Jaclyn Hales in the lead roles. The movie will air as part of the Great American Family Christmas in July programming event.

The movie tells the story of a photographer (Hales), who takes her best friend’s place at a Belgian culinary school during the holidays.  Once there, she connects with the chocolatier (Stephens) who is leading the class. When the couple begins to fall in love, the only problem is a case of mistaken identity.

Zane Stephens on starring in the Christmas movie

Digital Journal spoke to Zane about being a part of the Christmas movie and he said that he is “incredibly honored,” adding:

I had met with some of the team at GAC earlier last year and was hopeful to work with them. So when I got this call I was overjoyed.

Meanwhile, the actor was drawn to his character Mathias, saying what he loves the most is Mathias’ passion, loyalty, and love for his family.

When asked about his future plans, Zane said he has attended preliminary meetings about starring in several movies and TV shows, some of which he wrote.

Meanwhile, when asked about his motivations as an actor, Stephens said:

What motivates me as an actor is getting to share honest moments with the audience. I believe my job is to meet the wants and needs of those watching, and when I succeed at that, it’s the most unbelievable feeling in the world.

Moreover, when he was asked about his dream acting partners, Zane said there are too many to name. However, he said that at the end of the day, his dream co-star would be someone with a track record of being great, who isn’t afraid to challenge him, but yet trusts him and allows him to explore moments with them.

Stephens’ added that this movie will remind people why the Christmas season is special – “a lot of love and a lot about family.” He added, “Plus, there is a lot of chocolate! And we hope they enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it.”
