Lacey Chabert – Feels Hallmark Film Seems ‘Perfect’

More than 20 years have passed since Scott Wolf and Lacey Chabert starred on Party Of Five. But the two stayed in touch, trying to find the right project for both of them during those 23 years. And now both Scott and Lacey feel that the movie that will reunite them seems ideal, reported People.

The two Party Of Five alums will star as on-screen siblings in the new Hallmark holiday film, A Merry Scottish Christmas. “Scott and I have talked for years about doing another project together,” Chabert, 40, admitted. “When we first read this story about these siblings at a crossroads, we both knew it was the perfect opportunity.”

And Wolf, 55, shared that he agrees. “Working with Lacey on ‘Party of Five’ was one of my favorite experiences ever,” gushed the actor. “Reuniting after all of these years to tell such a beautiful story together is a dream that I’m so glad is coming true.” Hallmark plans to debut the new film later this year during its yearly Countdown to Christmas event.

Hallmark – Feels ‘So Excited’ About Reuniting Stars

Chabert and Wolf will portray estranged siblings named Lindsay (Chabert) and Brad (Wolf) in the new movie. The siblings visit Scotland to reunite with their mother to celebrate Christmas. But when Lindsay and Brad arrive in Scotland, a huge family secret gets revealed.

And Hallmark expressed enthusiasm for the project and the stars. “We are so excited to reunite Lacey and Scott and know our viewers will fall in love with this movie,” said Lisa Hamilton Daly, the Executive Vice President of Programming at Hallmark Media. And she added, “The nostalgia of seeing Lacey and Scott together again on screen is going to be a special holiday treat for our viewers.” Chabert and Wolf portrayed siblings Claudia and Bailey Salinger on Party of Five for six seasons from 1994 to 2000.

But Lacey recently admitted that portraying her character Claudia meant playing someone who experienced teenage milestones before she did in real life. “It was a little bit of a different way of growing up,” noted Chabert. “And not everyone can relate to it. It was interesting because sometimes my character would go through things in life on the show that I had yet to actually go through in life. You know, like my first kiss and all of this kind of embarrassing stuff.”
