Based on the story of a real-life Guinness World Record Holder, Auldin Maxwell, A World Record Christmas is about bringing a family closer, block by block. Based on the story of Guinness World Record holder Auldin Maxwell, A World Record Christmas airs as part of the network’s annual Miracles of Christmas programming event.

According to the official synopsis, Charlie Parsons (Dalman) is an autistic boy determined to set a Guinness World Record. He plans to do so by stacking 1,400 Jenga blocks. Meanwhile, his mother, Marissa Parsons (DeLoach) and stepfather Eric Parsons (Bryant) encourage him to reach for his dream. Moreover, they all celebrate when Charlie gets the good news that he will get his chance on Christmas Eve.

With his biological father mostly absent from his life, Charlie hopes that by setting a world record it would draw him back in.  In the meantime, Marissa and Eric have hit a lull in their relationship and are working to ignite the spark again.

As Charlie prepares for his world record attempt by practicing his Jenga stacking skills, he gets a good idea. He wants to organize a fundraiser to give the townspeople an opportunity to donate and decorate a Jenga block, with all the proceeds going to benefit kids with autism.

The autistic teen’s journey to setting the Jenga world record gives the whole family the chance to learn more, not just about themselves, but about what family really means.

Meanwhile, Lucas Bryant, who plays Eric, has previously been seen in Five More Minutes: Moments Like These. Aias Dalman, who plays the role of Charlie, has previously starred in When Time Got Louder.

April Telek (Supernatural) stars in the role of Jane, while Alison Wandzura (The Good Doctor) plays Ophelia Bennett of Guinness World Records. Moreover, Matt Hamilton (Three Wise Men and a Baby) plays Peter, while Auldin Maxwell appears as himself.
