Alexa PenaVega & Carlos PenaVega Find Love In The Limelight On Hallmark

Fan-favorite, real-life husband and wife, Alexa PenaVega and Carlos PenaVega star in another new, original Hallmark movie, Love In the Limelight. Once again, their incredible chemistry appears on screen, while the movie features six original songs by Carlos Penavega. Meanwhile, the movie kicks off Hallmark’s annual Fall into Love programming event.

Popular Hallmark channel stars and real-life couple, Alexa PenaVega and Carlos PenaVega star in a new, original movie, Love In the Limelight. Set to premiere in August as part of the annual Fall into Love programming event, the movie also features six original songs by Carlos PenaVega. It doesn’t get much better than this! Meanwhile, the movie is inspired by the real-life love story of Willie Aames (Picture Perfect Mysteries: Exit Stage Death, Eight Is Enough) and his wife, Winnie Hung.

According to the official Hallmark Channel synopsis, as a teenager, Summer (Alexa PenaVega was a devoted fan of the popular boy band, the Mendez Boyz. Most especially, she was a fan of Nick (Carlos PenaVega), the lead singer.

After Nick receives a sweet fan letter from Summer, he decides to respond with a phone call, sparking the start of a friendship that’s lasted to this day. Meanwhile, when Nick’s manager books a gig for him in a small venue in Summer’s hometown of Salt Lake City, where she works in human resources at a local university, the pair finally meet face-to-face. It is clear that their friendship has set the stage for romance.

When Summer tries to break things off, her Abuelita, (Ivonne Coll), a hip grandma with a TikTok following, encourages her to follow her heart.

About the soundtrack of the Hallmark movie

The movie’s soundtrack adds a rich Latin sound to Love In the Limelight. It consists of six, original Spanglish songs by Carlos PenaVega, If You Let Me, Someday Somewhere, BASIC, Vamos Pasar La Bien, Fall Again and Por Ti.

Meanwhile, Carlos is currently on a national tour as a member of the real-life popular group, Big Time Rush.
