Viewers can now revisit the previous seasons as they wait for When Calls The Heart to return for its ninth season, which is scheduled to air on March 6 on Hallmark Channel.
Erin Krakow, who plays the role of Elizabeth Thornton on the show, teased that the latest season will have more stories to tell. There will be “more drama, adventure, and romance” thanks to the show’s talented writers. The actress is extremely excited for fans to see what the show has in store for them for season 9.

The upcoming season will have 12 episodes and will feature some major changes. Spoilers hint that Jesse (Aren Buchholz) and Clara (Eva Bourne) will be leaving the show. In a new teaser, it’s been revealed that both characters have come across an opportunity that’s hard to pass up and they’re now homesteading in Montana.
It seems like Jesse won’t be making an appearance this coming season. There’s no news as to when they’ll return but it seems like the door has been left open for them to come back.
Fans can also expect to see Elizabeth and Lucas Bouchard’s (Chris McNally) evolve. Krakow is excited for viewers to see what’s next for their beloved characters.
